1 Corinthians 14:27-28 (NLT) 27 No more than two or three should speak in tongues. They must speak one at a time, and someone must interpret what they say. 28 But if no one is present who can interpret, they must be silent in your church meeting and speak in tongues to God privately. We can’t believe one part and not another. How can one get goosebumps upon not understanding what is said? Unless you have the gift of interpreting, you cannot understand and be edified!

@@ChefDJ1689 think of it like this. It’s a crowd when you upload to a public arena. Privately as the scriptures state is when you are (private) hence alone. Why was this so? It’s a witness to unbelievers. How does it edify anyone if one does not interpret. The scripture that I wrote was pretty clear .

The bible says in Acts 2:4-6, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit gave them utterance. So yess the spirit gives us this gift. in verse 5 the bile makes clear that there were men there from “every ‘nation’ under heaven” (it is very important to understand that there were people of different nationalities there) Going down to verse 6, it say that now when this was noised abroad, the multitude cam ‘together’ and were confounded (to be confused or surprised) because that every man heard them speak in his own LANGUAGE!
The bible is very clear. On the day of pentecost, every person heard the message in their own language and no one need to as God for the interpretation of it because it was already said so that they could understand. Speaking in tongues is speaking in another language.
Continue to verse 7 in the book of acts chapter 2 u see how the people were amazed at this and asked each other are these not men that speak galillaeans (language of the people residing in Galilee).

The bible is VERY clear again, paul is saying to the people, if there is a person that is speaking in another language that no one around that person understands then that person should speak to himself and God because God alone can understand this language. It doesn’t make sense to speak in this language if no one can understands it.
The bible elaborates on one type of ‘speaking in tongues’ and that is the gift of speaking different languages which is given by the spirit of God.

Listen, sometimes we do feel this way but as a child of God, you shake off all the negativity by declaring verbally positivity to your soul. Say I Rejoice in the lord, I am happy, I am not afraid or anxious because He that lives in me is greater than one who’s in the world, I am loved by God etc and the lord will surely dominate your life.
