could be an amalgam of several people, i see some sid vicious in eddie. but there's the washed up and washed out stage performer, the anti-hero who didn't have the talent but never stopped trying to come up with some lame and ridiculous scheme to revive a dead career. there are many who ended up like this, and we don't know their names.
