Just completed the Kuari Pass trek with Indiahikes. One thing which you did not mention so i will add to the charms of the trek is bird spotting at Tali campsite on the 4th morning. In the window from the first break of light till the sun is out fully, So many different kinds of birds singing in the pine forest in the morning. At least for us City dwellers it is an orchestra. It would have been great fun to carry binoculars to spot the birds. Though the 3rd day summit climb and the long walk including the ridge walk in windy conditions to the Tali campsite may leave one exhausted on the 4th morning.
@@sidthorwat651 I cannot say about Kedarkantha. About Kuari Pass, if there is one abiding memory, it is that on this Trek there is almost continuous climbing. Even in the descent day, we were climbing and then decsending. This was unlike the Dayara Bugyal trek which I did one year prior, where also there were climbs, but also stretches where you were walking on near level land. Not in Kuari Pass. If continuous climbing is to your taste, you can go for Kuari Pass.

Hi Samyatha, yes. Mid-April is a good time to go for Kuari Pass. Summers are usually when the meadows are greener and the temperature is comfortable to trek in. As mid-April is when the season transitions from Spring to Summer, you might even get to see the last of spring flowers.
