Such a beautiful place, I should add it to my list to check it out. Especially these days since the weather is so lovely in the UK.
Wonderful in the Winter but the crowds spoil it in the summer. I suggest you keep the pedal to the metal and go on to Cornwall !
We've been to Cornwall in January which was nice and quiet and there were places open, Isn't it just as busy, if not busier than Devon in the summer?
My husband grew up in Torquay! He keeps saying we have to take the kids to visit his childhood haunts. Some great ideas here - might have to skip the fortified wine for them at the abbey and take them straight to petting animals at Powderham!
We would definitely recommend a trip to Dartmouth, you can get the steam train from Paignton.
I love your videos. I cant wait till you bring new ones out. You bring joy to my life and to everyone else. :)))
Always a delight. Glad to see you found sunshine and I loved the chickens too. Crazy cuts!
It's a very pretty part of the world. Yes, they were some really funky chickens!
What a cool experience! That afternoon tea sounds amazing!
Yes, the afternoon tea was really nice and there was a lot of it as well.
Always great to see such varied locations around England. Also good to see you and Melissa on camera together at the end. Those were some funky chickens. As usual, your images look splendid.
It was a beautiful area, that was the 3rd UK vineyard we visited in 2 weeks. Loved the feathers on those funky chickens. Yes, managed to get Mel in front of the camera.
Oh no! Designated driver while everyone is wine tasting. You're a top bloke looking after everyone like this 👍
Don't worry too much, we took away a few bottles and I did a little 'tasting' that evening!
Well done.
Ummm, this is embarrassing but I didn't know there were wineries in England!! There's so much to see and do in the country and even though we've spent a lot of time there, we've never been to South Devon or the English Riviera... time to plan another trip ;) Thanks for sharing.
The number of vineyards have grown over the last 20 - 30 years due to climate changes. The climate is not that different to Northern France and parts of the wine regions in Germany
Devon looks lovely! I am definitely going to add it to my list...never thought of wine tasting in England but I'm willing to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
It is a beautiful area. Winemaking in the south of England is growing rapidly as the climate is getting warmer.
Paddle boarding to the pub! That’s awesome! Nice train and awesome castle!
Will follow your advice not to follow the google map 😉. I like the harry potter train, so nice to experience that. And the castle that you can't pronounce well (I also had a hard time pronouncing that when I read your caption, lol) but it is such a beauty castle. Lastly, I wonder what kind of an animal does those two white ones that appear before you holding the chickens or before the chickens appear, it kind of look like chicken but different? its my first time to see such.
Those were all types of chickens, with some really funky feathers. Yes, watch out where google maps sends you.
This is really cool!! I’ve just made a video of south devon 😊
It always amazes me how much stuff is packed into the UK! We went vaguely through this area but didn't get a chance to explore, will have to come back and check it out. Thanks for the look :)
There is a lot, we didn't have time for everything in the are including Agatha Christie's house.
