Been the best EDC multi for something like a decade bout time it caught on. Scissor spring will break but scissors continue to work (and then easy to sharpen) and a drop of glue and a magnet or a scrunchie to keep tool closed in pocket and file a can opener to have a flat screwdriver. Can reverse grip so pliers between handles to grip bigger pipes/nuts than any bigger multi-plier. Easy to remove blades if going to a country where that is a problem or file the back of blade once removed so it can't lock. Pliers a size worth carrying unlike the play pliers/big tweezers on a dime or even the surprisingly weak skeletool. Bomb proof for decades and even the fit/finish "problems" are useable as extra scrapers or jimping.

If you’re going to try and do a review at least cover everything like the innovative and very effective catch for holding bits tight which would have wiped out your mediocre response to the bit holder! Then what you called the ‘gut hook’ is indeed a parcel opener. And a seat belt cutter. The slot in the file is to assist opening. You’re really not doing a thorough job. 2/10 - must try harder. Were Leatherman bit kits 2 dimensional like you said they wouldn’t work at all. This is really not good enough.
Good review. This is a great multi-tool overall. The pliers are amazing for such a small tool. The only real downside is that the scissors are really rather poor. Other than that very good.
Just bought the black version at scheels in a combo pack with their centi 2 knife for $25 on sale. Hell of a deal. The centi knife kinda sucks but the multi tool is cool
Try the scissors the other way around. If you look at a real pair of right handed scissors, the top cutting blade should be on the right and bottom blade left. I realize this shouldn't matter, but for some reason it does. Unless you're holding them in your left hand, then push the handle down with your thumb.
The "gut hook" thing is a package opener. powerlitre is also great. Both tools need a wood saw, so I have to figure that out with t-shank jigsaw blades in the bit driver.
I'm thinking of getting this multitool for my daily bag, looks great and most of the tools are pretty useful for me. By the way, I've been using the "gut hook" on my leatherman as a package opener, or any clamshell packaging, works pretty great
Thanks for a great review. Do you know of any other similarly sized multitools? I have a Leatherman Wingman for work but am looking for something for EDC that's not too small (i.e., not like the Squirt or Micra)
The Leatherman Juice is probably the closest in size but I don’t think it’s available anymore. There’s not a lot of options in this size range that I know of
@@inkiron3907 I got a Leatherman Juice during the last run and gave it to my bro-in-law for Christmas. It's nice as a gift but not something I'd like for myself. It was heavy and the fit and finish was quite poor, especially for a Leatherman.
power liter lets you lock the handles together in screwdriver mode, but I'm not sure that's worth losing the tools to the corkscrew if you don't use it. Though, you might be able to 3d print something that fits the corkscrew, like the victorinox mini-screwdriver
Sog powerletre has a way to lock thw handle together so the but holder won’t loose the bit Same size and with that added feature it makes it so much better
Why the review? The tool has been around for a long time and there are a million review done on it! Stop beating a dead horse! Please look for ways of adding real value! Good grief!

I've had this tool for almost 3 yrs now. Its held up very well. still almost brand new despite over a year of daily carry, fidgeting & use.
I should add that most of the tools can be opened & closed one-handed
You can unlock an opened tool by opening a different tool instead of needing to open the tool and release that way.
Good tip! I didn’t think to try that

You think it’s possible to mod a victorinox scissors to replace the ass scissors?

8:10 this is a good tool for cutting through seatbelts.
I paid 28 US dollars in Ali Express for this multitool.
Yo igual la acabo de pedir por ahí, ya te llego? Se siente de buena calidad?

There’s holes in each tool to help open each tool. With fingernail
Certainly have enjoyed your channel / series. Great find. 🤌
Seems interesting for the size. I've settled on a few multi tools currently.
SOG Power Access Assist is worth checking out
i own a daicamping dl30 (leatherman surge clone) and this sog powerpint.
Nice choices
Great and informative video. I just snagged one on sale on Amazon for $36 and some change. I'm looking forward to using it. Thanks! 👊
What about the Gerber dime that is the smallest and the Gerber vise and there are a few smaller Leatherman's
I have a Dime review, but it’s not the same size as this. The Vise might be worth comparing though, good point
I want to buy this for my daughter for Girl Scouts. The only thing it's missing is a saw. Does anyone know if the serrated blade saws woid decently?

Very good tools...~!
Cheers. Interesting.
That proprietary gear set in that small of a tool makes leary. It does look like a very good design otherwise

FireAnt for sog powerliter would be amazing
Would this work as a keychain multitool?
Yes! I just got this and it's great for a keychain.

You dont have to grip it hard to keep the bit in place
