That was a tough start on the GK2 with the option of 2 elements for the 1st OC. I would've salvaged it for an epic boost, instead it gave you the electric crit chance at the cost of getting LOTS of Potency upgrades instead of Firerate or Reload. Normally the OC offers you a Firerate + (Reload or Damage) which really ups the damage and consistency. You NEVER want to take the "targets highest hp" on the GK2 as it's supposed to clear the weenies fast and then focus fire down the bosses after (trust me, EVERY time I took that OC it ended my run fast!) Also the Piercing OC used to give infinte piercing, now it only gives +4 Piercing at the COST of Firerate and is usually a waste of time unless you get offered NO Piercing upgrades at all prior to seeing it (usually you'll get SOME Piercing offered at some point). Ideally you want to focus on Firerate (and Reload) even over rare Damage (take any epic Damages, or rare when it's the only option). Even Reload Speed is better than rare or below Damage, but Firerate is CORE as you want that at 20/s or above in the end, and Reload is 2nd best as you want that at about 1s or preferably 0.5s. Shotgun would've been better 2nd as it has innate Knockback for CC and unlocks the Projectile upgrades (for more Firerate) AND it unlocks the Medium upgrades (for even more Firerate and Reload options). The Cryo grenade is best 2nd if you intend to aggressively level it only, as it adds little damage even if it does add CC, and it unlocks NOTHING for the build. M1000 3rd was a good choice as it targets bosses specifically (doing damage to Pierced targets too) and finally unlocked the upgrades you needed (what with it being Medium and Projectile). You got close to the Firerate and Reload goals by stage 4 so it all worked out in the end - and THEN you started wiping the floor with the bugs! 👍
The double scanner and pouder made you a nitra pounder😁

and depending if you want support guns or not I love boomerang for sidearm or magnet.
Been struggling with this build, but I'm gonna give it another try 🧐💪
You can do it!
why you didn't take terrain damage on the cryo grenades?
