About the show:
'Dhe Chef', South India's biggest cooking reality show is aired on Mazhavil Manorama friday to sunday at 8 pm. The show tests the culinary skills of the selected contestants through the series to eventually find the 'Dhe Chef of the Year'. The format of the show, set in the back drop of kitchen and cooking with mega prize money on the table for the winner and runners up, will be an enchanting palate of culinary indulgence and fierce competition
Actor Dileep, who has mastered the nuances of delicious food, launched the show. 'Dhe Chef' is hosted by actress - anchor Jewel Mary along with renowned RJ Mathukutty. The judging panel consists of 3 professional Chefs - Chef Anjali Ramaswamy, Chef P V Pradeep and Chef Amrit Jose Appadan.
The show follows a dynamic pattern, with a mix of indoor and outdoor shoots. It has all the major factors of reality shows like twists, pressure tasks, time restrictions, mysteries, wild card entries, elimination rounds, safe zones and of course, presence of celebrity guests. Participants are also tested on group and individual rounds. What awaits the title winner are prizes worth 50 lakhs. The runners up will also be awarded exciting prizes.
20 contestants are selected from 40 short-listed participants who will compete with each other to win the title of 'Dhe Chef'. Brace yourself and get ready to witness some foodelicious episodes.

In shameems judgment chef anjali and chef amrith said masala mathram taste chydad was a "BIG mistake " ( 42:53 - 43:27)
same opposite was said by chef amrith to sreelakshmi that tasteing only the masala is the "MAIN" thing in episode 17, (32:15 -32:30)
When the other chef enquired could she taste the chicken dish as she was a veg.. etc etc.. Pls check that episode17 judgment part .

Many deserving contestants losing out bcoz of minor flaws, and many undeserving contestants staying on the show bcoz of partiality and luck. Maybe it was a smart move by the judges to avoid a very tough decision in the finals, but thereby making all the upcoming episodes uninteresting and more predictable. Producers, best of luck for a good TRP rating for the remaining episodes.

really bad judgement !! seems like judges are biased.. obiviously shameem is better than aneeta. Judges are playing smart to avoid tough judgement for the finale.. Also even when the judges are not there in thr stage, they are watching the cooking through camera.. This is really pity!!. People start losing faith in the judges!!
you are wrong brother... the judges are not biased because they say it in every elemination.. that during elemination their previous records does not matter whether they were better before or after.... They said shameem's fish was not cooked which was enough to get him out. and I personally did not like his presentation at all.... too childish

After each episodes, the judges are losing their respect. My uncle is a chef and after seeing this episode his immediate comment was show is fixed. Chef Anjali spoke about taste and could we eat the dish completely when served.. forget about taste no body would have even touched anitha's dish when served.. I would have bowed by head if judges would have eliminated all three of them. All dishes were bad, for a semi final elimination, these dishes were below standard. but instead they chose a dish even as viewer could not digest. Sorry judges I could not understand what pressure you have but you have atleast lost my respect..
Shameem was far better than Anita on this particular day, !!! His effort not counted at all !!!

Santhoshamyi chefseee.... Aa sreelakshmine out aakiyallo. She is playing safe all the time when it comes to a round like elimination or wild card entry. She did a simple dish ( banana fry) in the wild card entry and surprisingly got selected. And for this task just another simple dish. Shameem .. You should have concentrated a bit more on the fish since its a part of your core dish. Tasting matters all the time and that lacked for you and sreelakshmi as well. Sreelakshmi is just a drama queen and she is jealous if any other person wins the task thats clear from her expressions and eyes. Just check that episode in which they made a shahi tukhda. She is not satisfactorily clapping for the winners and so I dont like you being on dhe chef.
