    What if i have just 2 chanel reciever, whidout ch3 or vr, what can i do wit conector with one wire, can I put disconnected?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  20 годин тому

      If you don't have ch3, no need to plug the 1 wire in. It's only for the gyro gain and you can adjust that using the dial on the gyro.

    I bought one of these but it keeps throwing the cart to the right, could it be defective?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  24 дні тому

      It might be that the gyro direction is wrong. Try and reverse the direction. It should turn the wheel to the direction you swing it to.
      If it can only swing one way and not the other, try and set the EPA again so it takes both sides.
      If none of these work then it's defective.

    I have the same gyro in my bmr evo 2 and have lost all steering
    Any tips would be appreciated

      Can you still turn the steering when the car doesn't move or it doesn't response to your command at all?
      First I'd suggest you to set the EPA again and start from the left turn. Then turn the PCA and AGS down all the way to see if you have any response from the transmitter input.

    I need the gyro for straight speed runs, what settings do you recommend?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  2 місяці тому

      I think you'll need to be in control all the time so PCA: low, AGS depends if you have a lot of vibration. Otherwise, low too so it doesn't snake around.

    good day, your work is perfect and thank you for your time and energy. Could you make a drift car project from hb toys 4x4 drift? I am very interested, it is not so financially demanding for me.

      I don't have the car but generally for a car of this type, 1/14-1/12 is pretty good out of the box. But you have limited choices of tyres so just run whatever it comes with. Upgrade the transmitter for better response and adjustability and you'll be alright.

      thank you for your reply. I am interested in 1/24 and 1/28 models. I wonder what style you will use for the 4x4 hb toys on RWD. yes i replaced the transmitter with a Radiolink R4FGM v2.2. I can't get the V5 gyro up and running, so I'm drifting on the internal Radiolink. 2 of my wltoys servos have already died.

      @@bludnyholandan5073 I'm trying to look for 1/24 HB but haven't found any. Anyway, to make an RWD mod you'll need a lot of steering for a start. So, extend the swing arm of the servo will get you wider output. Then attach that to the wheel hubs. As or suspension, it depends but if the toe or wheel angle is good, it'll hold the drift.
      You might need to convert the plugs for your gyro. And don't forget to turn the internal gyro on the receiver off then use the dial output to control the gyro instead.

    Gyro top 5 ?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  2 місяці тому +2

      These are based on what I have.
      1. Drift Art SMG V5: near perfect with the size and filter.
      2. GT55/DasMikro V4: drive the same as no.1 but a bit bigger.
      3. AFRC GYS-2 V4: same steering curve but with no wheel shake filter.
      4. Power HD G1: drive like no.3 but a standard size for 1/10.
      5. AFRC GYS-2 V3: still good in general but the steering curve is not so good for direct steering cars.
      And then HotRC F11 > Dumborc G1

      @ottoman1361 DasMikro is the same as DA and GT55 so it's good. There's nothing to worry about.

      What 1 and 2S micro esc Recommend you ?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  2 місяці тому

      @@ottoman1361 I don't use 1S but for 2S anything that is based on Hobbywing programme is good. Atomic, GL, PN Racing are the standard you can find on the race track. DasMikro V3 is really nice and small but you'll need to solder the wires. Another one is BYRC on Aliexpress. They used to have the combo but now only the ESC is available. www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002763087844.html
