Thank you for this great review! I've just finished the book and the characters are so alive in my head, I was hoping there was a movie version so I can see them and hear them talk. So far I had only read Nigerian books by Achidie Ngozi and Adebayo. But Shoneyin! Wow. Such command of the language! She manages to write the story from no less than 6 people's point of view, plus the narrator! I can't recommend this book enough.
et moi emois you’re right! The characters are still in my head even though I finished the book eight months ago. Shoneyin is a literary gem, and I can’t wait to dive in to more of her works. I hope you’ll continue watching my channel for more African literature recommendations.
Love your vibe. I’m subscribing to your channel cos I just love the way you did this review👍🏾 I’m laughing even though it’s not so funny, kind of sad really. I reviewed it last year & going through UA-cam to check how others saw the book. Love yours.
@@CoffeeWithTemmi I haven’t read them, but the Louding is on my list of books to read next. Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll be sure to post my thoughts when I do.

I've just finished 'Stay With Me' by Ayobami Adebayo. Maybe you could review that one at some point :-)
et moi emois believe it or not, it’s the next book recommendation coming up. I finished reading it recently. 😊
Yeah. Stay with me is another amazing Nigerian fiction that I absolutely love. I reviewed it on my channel as well.
It’s a must read!
I can't wait to read it now. I've been hearing such good things about it!
