It's an animation - NOT how I want women to be. For me the appeal of a 'robot woman' lies in the real woman exposing the robot as flawed. I agree that there is still too much importance placed on a woman's appearance and I like the idea of the cliches you described being presented as superficial and irrelevant. I'm NOT interested in some kind of 'perfect woman', OK?
If I ever get round to finishing this animation it should be clear that the 'Perfect' in 'PerfectGirl' is a bit ironic. Seperate from my patchy drawing, she's supposed to look unnatural.
I'd like to see the finished project. What's available is marvellous. Love your story telling, and your animation. You pose engaging ideas, thought provoking ideas. You also entertain. I hope you agree this is decent praise for an artist.
+Joe Dolahenty Thanks, Joe! Sorry about the delayed reply. This project, as is obvious, ran out of steam unfortunately. The design process had way too many stages to it. But I may eventually redevelop it just in Flash. (This clip involved exporting each character twice (the additional AVI used as alpha) from Flash, animating the elements and camera in Studio Max and then editing in Premiere). Too much work! I do have a couple other ideas gestating, with a couple shots completed for each. But thanks for the encouragement!

Acctualy I saw a discovery program where allot of men could design their perfect girls apperence and the majority thought a blonde pale girl with straight hair was most attractive and at second plase was a red head that was also pale with a ponytail.... So this is just unrealistic...

I made the backgrounds in Studio Max. The characters were drawn in Flash, exported as AVIs and inserted flat into Max.

What your doing is not often pulled off by flash artists. It shows you put in a lot of work.
