It’s a “smart band” or “clasp” that Sony made. I’m not sure if they still make it but it is not an original part of that Citizen watch. You can pair it with almost any watch, I guess the idea was to be able to wear a traditional watch and have a smart watch on the same wrist.
Japan won this episode! Those limited edition Seiko’s were something else… and then the Citizen + Sony collab was neat, especially for a Japanese software engineer !!
3:42 my ears popped when he said he was wearing a Vacheron Constantin only to find out he wore the Frédérique Constant. These are 2 different watch companies. VC can cost from $15k to half a million. FC you can buy one for 1k.
I think this one was a bit of a miscommunication, I asked him if he was wearing a Vacheron Constantin since that model looks kind of close, and name is simpler, I think I confused him. Hope we can see a VC on the channel soon - Chris.
@@TheJapaneseFactory You can do the double watch hack with a NATO strap if the lugs are the same size. Problem is that most smartwatches tend to have weird lugs that aren't standardized like analog watches so they aren't able to fit normal watch straps.

I think it can depend on the wearer. If they come off as that and or are snobby then yes the watch can reflect the wearer. But what if it was someone who worked hard for years and saved up to buy themselves one? Now the watch doesn't seem so much elitist as it does a hard earned reward for a hardworking person ya know?
@ fair point and you’re right, there’s another layer for analysis. In saying what I did, it was from the view of the watch brand itself how it is niche, selective and non-accessible to watch lovers. It’s my understanding with the Rolex experience, it is only for paying clients now. Thanks for your reply.
@@tonypham98 I don't want you to feel like I was calling you out on your opinion and making it seem like you're wrong! haha. @@TheThatoneguy12121 didn’t feel that way at all! Glad to hear you are an Omega owner (I have two myself in my collection). The Omega brand and experience is more fun and enjoyable for everyone, compared to Rolex.

That first watch (Citizen Eco-Drive) blew my mind, never seen anything like that. So innovative - Looks like something James Bond would use.
I wish we had em over here, that was really really cool

i see the bracelet is a Sony WENA 3
The guy with the "Vacheron" probably has a bunch of Invicta he calls Rolex too 😂
Maybe the guy is dyslexic. The watch he is wearing is Fredrique Constant. I won’t be surprised if he has Casio watches that he calls Richard Mille.
