Hello. I have a little brother, he’s a huge fan of yours!! Also, we were there at the same time as you!! It was really fun, he was really scared to ask for a photo. But thanks for making his dream come true! If possible, can u pin?
@@AmusementInsiders Heather Hill is amazing. I've seen her a few times when I worked at the park in 2017, and she's great~ I didn't know Canada's Wonderland had a new park president, because I remember Norm Pirtovshek when he was park president, and let me tell you, Norm was amazing and you can tell he loved his job. Also seen him (not met him) a couple of times during my days of working there too~ Didn't know Canada's Wonderland hired Phil Liggett, but he's been the president for a little over a year, and so hope to see great things at Canada's Wonderland over the next several years with his leadership :)
The moment Grace confirmed the fire effect at the top of the mountain, and potential ice effects... locals rejoiced and smiled with glee, while the hatred from KD et al grows ever stronger. 😊
It’s been so long since we’ve seen Grace!! I’m happy to know that they’re working on special effects for the ride. Very happy about the fire effect!! Glad there’s no over the shoulder restraint regardless.
@@ryan6523 the pipes and eveything for the fire effects are still there they just stoped turning them on becuse they did not have a pyrotechnician in the park you need at least one pyrotechnician in the park when its running so hopefully when this ride opens they might turn on backlots effects agian
The fire element will be great. Even if they were stuck with creating an ice element, They could always blast air conditioning through the tunnel. It might also be neat to have a lighting package on certain elements throughout this ride.
Yeaaaa no comfort collars! Great to hear the color scheme in the off ride and pov videos will be the actual colors. It's also good to hear they care so much about adding stories to coasters now, we can see that with iron menace too, hope this pattern continues in SFE!
Looks like lots of trees would need to come down to build the coaster. Hope they plant back new trees or vegetation around the coaster or it would look barren.
I don’t know is she can answer this but on August 16th with the capacity question could you ask if they are buying a third train in case one of them breaks down?
Are they enclosing the launch track inside the mountain? Enclosing the launch track like on the pov and putting in light effects similar to Incredicoaster but instead red and blue lines light effects would be awesome. They could add wind effects too simulating ice, in addition to the fire effects.
I know everyone will love this coaster! It was also sick to see you walking around the park. Another thing that me and my kids enjoyed was seeing the interview take place while waiting for cousins. 😊😊😊 Keep up the effort!
Lol look at that UA-camr with the Deadpool shirt and the backwards raptors hat in the first 10 seconds of the video that's me. I'm also a huge fan of this channel as well I been watching since Yukon was under construction About 6 years ago i think. Anyways I can't to Brendan's construction updates on aplen fury im definitely going to stay tuned for those when they go live.
1:50 on that note: could we see the fire effect return to Backlot Stunt Coaster? (The reason I heard the most was that a pyrotechnician needed to be on site to do this)
The POV videos show water on the mountain in the top 2 levels id love to see that get that turned back on again! It just looks sad with the stains…. And I may be mistaken but it seems the volume of water over the falls is low
The POV shows the fly with the current colour scheme, but AlpenFury seems to have a white track instead of the colours presented in the teaser video, so who knows?
Everyone is asking about Backlot’s visual effects….I’m hoping they’ll fix both of Thunder Run’s audio and visual effects. It would make sense since it’s in Alpen, and Brendon has mentioned the park likes to elevate the existing area of a new attraction.
A bunch of rides could do with a makover. Thunder Run could do with a complete overhaul of effects and themeing inside. Maybe some long video panels with effects that move along the screens with the trains? A lit up animatronic dragon in place of the existing one? Etc. Also Wonder Mountains Guardian needs a serious re-work too. Better immersive screens that wrap around the top and the bottom, bring back the 3d glasses, a completely new CGI video with an actual storyline and new motion trains that shake and articulate in all directions throughout the ride?
very off topic but other than having this amazing ride thats all of us are excited for, i think the park needs to start having a limit of how many people can go in everyday. Maybe increase it during weekends since everyone loves going during saturdays and sundays but is it possible for them to decrease the amount of people in the park? The tim hortons and some other food places inside also needs a better customer service. I understand that nobody wants to deal with teenagers or many people that they have to serve day by day but customer service makes a big difference in any industry and no one wants their order made wrong while receiving attitude at the same time when we’re paying hella amount of money just to be there to enjoy the park.
Is it actually confirmed that AlpenFury will have fast lane when it opens? I want to buy the all season fast lane but only if this ride is included in 2025. Did wonderland confirm this? Please advise

No problem at all! Thanks for the kind message
@@AmusementInsiders he's kind of young but a very good rollercoaster enthusiast!
Grace Peacock is always a joy to listen to and see in videos 👏👏 Canada’s Wonderland definitely has a great director of communications in their hands.
Truly the best thing to happen to Wonderland! Along with Heather Hill and the new Park President

Are they gonna add the fire back to Italian Stunt Job now and have the helicopter move up and down like it did before 😂
I’ll ask that on August 16th
Was wondering the same thing.

no kidding

This is a good interview! Grace is amazing and talented at what she does. I’m so excited for AlpenFury is looks so fun
Please ask if they are going to have the upper falls running like in the video. That would be awesome!!!
LETS FREAKING GO NO COMFORT COLLARS
Great interview, love there will be effects on the ride.
If they re implement fire effects for this ride can they start doing the fire on backlot again?!
I hope they can give the ride an overhaul so all the cars on the train can run people as well.

Will they activate the upper falls in wonder mountain

Should've asked her what they were thinking with only 2 trains?!
August 16th I’ll ask :)

I would really really really love to see what the other ride manufacturers proposed.

Follow up question can stunt coaster get it effects back?
Alpen not Alpine? Alpine as in tall mountain....
Strange name...
Great vid !
Great looking ride...can't wait to ride it
....HUGE BUT.....MAX CAPACITY IS 900 PPL / HR IS NOT GOOD!!!!
Nice video.
Thank you to Grace and Canada's Wonderland for this interview with Amusement Insiders.
This will be cool
The sunglasses are awesome
I wonder if the fly is getting a retheme still since the animation didn’t have it

She mentioned further theming in the area so she maybe confirmed it without confirming it.
@@stephanlambert6207hopefully!
After watching the video it seems the POV is the colours we should trust :)
What would priemere need to do to add a third train to alpefury thanks for any input
Do you think it will be open on opening day or later in the year??
Take notes BGW, this is what you used to do with your attractions and theming, and still should be.

fuck no
Will the 5 single fast lanes in the gold pass deal be fast lane plus?
Those are for the 2024 season only.
Great interview! Wondering if you asked the question about the 2 train decision and riders per hour, and they didn't want to talk about it?
Another reason for my enhanced ID so I can visit
So when Grace referred to that part of the park (a week or more ago) as the "Alpen Area"... was she teasing/hinting/let slip the name of the coaster?
Should've asked about why the park agreed to such a low capacity lol
I didn't think you could have an inverted coaster without shoulder restraints...
A fire element would require a pyrotechnician right? Would that mean the fire special effects would be turned back on at Backlot Stunt Coaster?
My only concern is how accommodating are these restraints going to be
❤
Brandon, Have you asked the price tag on this project?
14mil

2, unfortunately
