feminist non-fiction books 👄

a highly overdue video recommending my favourite non-fiction feminist books! I am by no means an expert & this is very much a starter-pack rather than comprehensive list - but I really do believe that these books are fantastic and I can’t them recommend enough.
As I note in the video, many of these books cover distressing content so please look up content warnings before reading.

Love these, thanks for the recs! A feminist book I'd really recommend is Feminism for the 99% by Cinzia Arruzza, Nancy Fraser, and Tithi Bhattacharya. A really cool international perspective on feminist issues. Also, if you want to read more about the fat justice movement What We Do't Talk About When We Talk About Fat by Aubrey Gordon is such a good book!

I love uour videos and thank you for the recs ❤. Id really like to recommend The Sex Lives Of African Women by Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah, it's a great novel consisting of the various experiences of real black women queer, cis, monogamous, polyamorous and everyone in between. I really enjoyed it and I hope you will too 😊

Read "The Female Eunuch" by Germaine Greer published in 1970, an eye-opener for its time and frankly triggered most of that has come since.
