Pizza Tower: Gerome's Side Project ALL LEVELS P-RANK (CYOP)

Anyways here’s my thoughts on each level:
Gerome Alley (7) = Solid level. The escape sequence is a little awkward at certain points, and it probably could have done with a few less pig cops or bananas, cuz they kind of slow the level down a bit. Otherwise it’s a fun albeit simple level. The music is awesome too.
School Zone (8.5) = This is probably my favorite level aesthetically, it’s really fun looking. I’m surprised a level primarily featuring the ball transformation ending up being as fun as it was, as it’s a pretty simple transformation. It’s cool how you can stay in Mach 4 for a large part of the escape sequence. My only complaint is it’s kind of awkward killing some of the bat enemies which is annoying for me because I like to try and kill everything if I can lol.
Core of the Hive (5) = A level primarily featuring Mr. Pinch, one of the most annoying stage gimmicks in vanilla, ends up being, go figure, kind of annoying. It’s a shame too because the rest of the level is pretty fun, and I really like the idea of going through the start of the level backwards with the rocket during the escape. It just ends up being an absolutely dreadful P Rank due to how jank some of the Mr. Pinch segments are especially combined with the sticky honey floor. I’m glad there’s a way to skip the second secret because that thing kept killing runs. Also all the snaking back and forth with the rocket gets a little obnoxious after you’ve done it a billion times. Anyways, note to any aspiring level creators reading this, please stop putting Mr pinch in your levels, he’s awful.
GOLF MMDCCXLI (7.5) = Well this was a fun surprise. I’m not normally crazy about golf levels, so I’m amazed how well thought out a lot of these courses are. They’re pretty complex so it feels great to pull them off. It’s also a fun P Rank until you get to the very last course, which I just couldn’t for the life of me seem to get to work just right. The secrets in this level are also pretty creative, the one where you race against grease ball is a particular highlight for me. Still that ending segment, the ball just kept getting caught in weird places. I felt it could have benefitted from an extra one of those noses that hold the ball in place or something. The escape timer is also a bit short, I almost never beat lap 2 without spawning pizza face, although that’s probably just because I kept sucking at the final course lol.
Noise Channel (9.5) = Wow. This literally feels on par with an actual pizza tower level, it’s incredibly fun, has some really great visual gags, and just feels good to play. It’s probably the hardest P-rank here just because the level is so long, but I enjoyed every second of the many attempts I put in to it (unlike the hive where I wanted to die). The bomb carrying segments are also really fun, and I like how the first secret teaches you to throw the bombs upwards which helps a lot throughout the level. I think my only complaint is there’s a little too many metal blocks and you get pretty hard punished for not memorizing every little turn and maintaining Mach 3. The final bomb carrying segment during the escape is also pretty unforgiving for keeping combo but it’s manageable.

Bravo! I'll be working on an update that should alleviate a few trouble rooms, hopefully should make Core of the Hive a bit easier? You'll still have to suffer through most of it, though. Either way, thanks for playing! Hope you look forward to the future of the tower.

The Noise Channel overlays are absolutely fantastic!
It strikes me that one could even make a whole challenge mode for the original off of that concept, Kind of like One Finger Death Punch's "No Luca No" mode.

Shame Core of the Hive seems to be the least popular level here, it's probably my favorite in the tower. I think the Mr. Pinch usage is pretty alright, I like its use in the escape, which tends to be a bit easy otherwise
Also idk I think Core's P rank isn't too bad, Noise Channel took me more tries since a few secrets are mean

My favorite level would be the golf level, mainly because of the soundtrack having Steven Hawking in the beat.
Okay, so a new mod called Another Fixed Objects Mod includes unused room that were left out during development. That unfortunately means that, here in this campaign, we can only get to S rank because the unused secret rooms were include and were also required erroneously. To truly get a P rank, simply delete the old rooms that were later removed.

Guys i have a problem. I was playing core of the hive after the new CYOP patch and had AFOM installed. The combo guy was purple, i had all secrets, the treasure, and was doing lap 2, but only got an S rank. Does anyone know why this is?
