It’s not just OTTBS my throughbred got it and she never raced nor was ever trained to race & there can be a variety of breeds that can get it, I know someone with an Irish sports horse who has KS
@@matildaelizabethorr I know any breed can get it but it’s most prevelant in ottbs. kissing spine has been proven to be hereditary so a horse that has never raced can still get it
Hey anyone can see you will always do your best for your horses! I know of a horse who has had surgery and was very unsuccessful! However I agree any other complications forget it!! Well done you for this hard decision and doing the best for your lovely mare!

I was thinking about it but the vet said that her KS could be hereditary so the foal could have a high chance of getting it too ♥️
@@nataliestepheneventing in your hands I doubt it! She has a huge heart & I bet would produce a nice horse for eventing
