It's been awhile, but, I think I recorded the audio using a Sennheiser ME66 K6 shotgun mic into a Fostex FR 2-Le digital audio recorder. I usually put the mic up on a light stand at the back of the room, aimed at the center of the stage. I let it run all night, then cut it into the finished video. I shot it using my old Canon XL1s video camera (which I haven't used for three years now). The camera was on a tripod using a Manfrotto 503 fluid head. Hope this helps!
Yes it does help a lot. I noticed that even during what would have had to be a loud environment, that you managed the audio recording level superbly to the point, where we don't get that crazy indistinguishable bass, kudos to you. I'm learning about audio/video production on my own, so naturally I come across your content as an authority on the subject. Thank you and keep putting out these great videos.
Can you describe some of the audio and visual setup for this video, equipment used, settings, etc.
