If you do a day pass renting a cabana is food and drink included or do you have to pay extra? Info on their website is conflicting.
Lovango Beach Resort fills a number of niches since Erma. One, Maho Bay Camping resort closed and that was 147 camping cabins gone from St John plus the loss of the Pavilion restaurant which was a local favorite. Second, the closing of Caneel Bay Resort was a loss of another 120 rooms and two restaurants. So Lavango is a very interesting new resort which helps add some new vacationing options and day trip lunch excursions. Im looking forward too going over on my 20 ' RIB and relaxing and dining there regularly. A really good option rather than all the hassel of going over to Jost Van Dyke for the day. And a lot more private experience. PGL, HAKUNA MATATA...
If you are willing to share, how much was the cabana at the pool? Do you have to pay fir each chair at the beach?
I was checking the website not long ago and I think it was like $250/pp up to 6 people.
Also how are the brown outs?

Lovango isn't actually a 'private' island - there are people who live there not affiliated with the resort, and since 1978 the beaches anywhere in the USVI are public... We actually stopped going to Lovango now that the resort is there because it is so much busier than it used to be, but there is great snorkeling off the east end.
Oh ok, thanks for letting me know! I was basing that off of Lovango's website and other articles I've read like this one, rb.gy/r09hv, where Lovango is referred to as a private island. But I'll be more mindful of my wording in the future!
