Not sure if this question has been submitted, but when doing an IOS-XE upgrade to SD-WAN/Vipetella does the current configuration port into the SD-WAN or would you need to rebuild the SD-WAN from the ground up based off a backup image?

I dont like Cisco Sdwan cnfiguration with templates is complex I prefer CLI, not easy to manage so many templates
