I wonder where u stayed at. I’ve stayed at roomtel (goshiwon) in Seoul for 2 months trip. I prefer the traditional streets there since coming from the US, it was something I find it unique where coffee shops, privately own small business restaurants were just all around the corner and all walking distance. High rise buildings and modern parts of Seoul doesn’t appeal to me that much. I still prefer the unique architectural streets in Seoul.
Did you stay in Korea for two months on a trip? It’s so nice! I always stay at Dongdaemun because I wanna go shopping at night I would also like to stay in a traditional place, but since there aren't many in Dongdaemun, I stay at a hotel called “Mangrove”Very comfortable. Yes! 2 months. I did a lot of research before coming in. It was my first time even though not knowing the language (I’m glad I survived getting a round lol) I was curious about what the hype was all about in Seoul besides food and nightlife. I also took advantaged the top-notch service and reliability of dental procedures I had in Korea ( as u know, dental procedures in the US has a golden price, take a long time to complete, and a poor quality procedures). 7:39 is this a hotel in Mangrove? 7:55 these are the streets I liked in Seoul or traditional streets areas than commercial areas.
I don't know how this video showed up to me. I just watched a paris vlog of a famous Korean youtuber. I envied her and wanted to go to paris. It was nothing really special. Just little shops and roads, walking with a bag of baguette. But to me it looked really exotic and special. It's funny that 컵라면 떡볶이 and streetwares could mean the same to you and other foreigners here. It just makes me to appreciate what I already have. Thank you!!
