Up until this point, "Temple" and "Clock Tower" were my favorite tracks from the OST. But, this one just beats them all around for me. Its literally got everything. Industrial sounds, symphonic noise, sick violin solos, both intense and menacing melodies and just enough references to similar themes from other parts of the OST to make it feel familiar. To be honest, this track is way too epic to be titled "Distillery" and it makes the Deserted Distillery feel even more intense then High Peak Castle for me.
I love your ability to create music that perfectly compliments the environment it plays in or matches the way an environment makes a player feel. It manifests in this track just like in every other track in the Dead Cells OST. You did an amazing job.
Time and time and time again you keep expanding the diverse array of music already within dead cells, I particularly love the unique palette you've used in this track, a perfect brew of new and old.
There is something unique with the crying violon taking the solo at 3:00 mixed with the constant feeling of impending doom and that place being the last stage. It’s scary as the Sepulcher and epic. And the 4:25 theme brings a new atmosphere of hope after getting blown up by barrels and used up all your health potions. Cheers on that song

This has to be my favorite biome purely because of how dangerous it is, this makes the castle look like the prison, you never truly feel safe in this biome cause there could always just be a barrel bouncing towards you, and that anxiety fuels the atmosphere of this area, and we cant forget about this DOPE ASS MUSIC, this part for some reason reminds me of terraria 0:41
A healthy tip for beginners for this biome(Required to have beaten 0bc) - The Homunculus Rune is a saviour in thia biome. Not only can it help dispatch certain enemies who may be present on tricky spots where fighting them is risky, it also immediately converts deadly barrels into blue ones with you having control on where to take the barrel to detonate(making exploding walls or enemies with it much easier without you taking damage since blue barrels dont damage you).

As a result, a new team, Evil Empire, was born. Now EE is putting out regular updates every other month (i.e. Legacy update, Bad Seed update, Bestiary update, Update of the Plenty, etc). It has been doing so for over a year now, and it will keep it up for well over another. MT has now been working on a new unannounced title for a year. How come you didn't know any of this?
Were you on 0-2BC? At higher BC's your health can go from 100% to 0 for a single mistake here and I'm not even joking. On top of that every unique enemy here is a god-damned tank and the Distillery is flooded with high damage hazards. It's far more punishing than Caverns imao.

That's mainly because very few players go to the distillery after their first visit... and even fewer have made it out of the biome alive.
