- Hi, from MISS DIORAMA. This is my first miniature Christmas Village house build. Inspiration for this cute little cabin came from a real tiny house I saw on a trip to the Australian Alpine region. The diorama stands approximately 22cm in height. I hope you enjoy this video, and please be sure to subscribe!

I just came across this video and cried cause I wish I could make one for near my Mom and Dad's ashes as they always dreamt of living in a log cabin. Great job.
Why can't you? Make it from cardboard, maybe use cement or something weatherproof over the top
This log cabin had stone walls, only logs were used on front porch overhang and supports

This is my childhood cabin in the hills of Missouri. My Grandparents are gone but the love in that small 4 room cabin was filled with love. I have already started gathering my supplies to start mind. God bless you and yours. THFS.

I am a bit confused as to how one would change the batteries, since it is all glued together
hi, its not all glues together! I went back to the beginning when I read your comment. The cut out grounds are glued together but not on to the square. She turns it over and shows the hole for the batteries that she just covers with the cut out cardboard rectangle.

Thank you very much Tom. Best to you, as well! I was using a homemade version of "sculptamold" - I actually use toilet paper, white glue and plasterers joint compound. I will be doing a video on how I make it. I am inspired by your videos; I also find them informative. Cheers!

Hi Manju, it is 'Reeves' gloss gel. It is basically acrylic medium & you can find it in other brands if you can't get "Reeves"

Hi, I know this is an older video. What products did you use? What kind of tape? Was that scultamold?
Hi! Yes it was my very first video. That tape is just the cheapest masking tape from Bunnings and no it’s not sculptamold, it’s a mix I make myself using plaster, toilet paper and PVA glue- I have a video showing how I make it called “how to make snow for winter dioramas”. I also use the same mix for terrain and textured surfaces.

hi sorry to seem a bit dumb, but what is the white mix yu are putting on with the spoon ? is it plaster of paris or something else, it seems to stay managable for a long time before going hard, i would like to give this a go but would need to know what stuff you are using for it and where can i download any template you are using for this, it really is lovely and makes me want to try this even at my age now, thank you,
