Please don’t take this ever off of UA-cam. My dad made this kür (Ali Schöneburg) and its the only way I can see him sometimes. He is the one in the music booth with the yellow shirt.
I was not working this day in 1995, and this Volvo dressage event was on. I watched it and loved the music along with yhis phenomenal performance. I was so touched... I was bawling... it stirred my heart to thr core. So much so that I called the Volvo company and begged them to send me the video of this exact performance of Anky and Bonfire. The gentleman was so kind and worked hard to obtain and mail the VHS of it! The memory of it just came up in my mind tonight so I brought it up on UA-cam, only to get chills and cry again! Love, love, love this!!
I am overwhelmed with joy at FINALLY finding this on YOU TUBE! I have it on VHS that I recorded back in 2001 and the tape has been damaged! It's my all time favorite and every time I watch it, my eyes tear up. This is absolute perfection and looks like equine ballet to even my somewhat uneducated eye. What beauty!
I'm no fan of Anky but what a horse Bonfire was! Today Valegro gets all the plaudits but for me, Bonfire was the one that first showed me what a dancing horse truly looks like. Thank you for posting this video!
It's under Anky's cues that the horse dances. She is reigning in the United States now and reached the top in that. I know that Anky was among the Dressage riders but in her clinics she expresses that only top riders should attempt it. Because otherwise you might not do it the right way and kill your horse.
geweldig paard en amazone xxx voor diegene da willen, de muziek is een mix : Wish you were here van David Palmer en Fading like a flower van Wiener Symphoniker
Can anybody tell me whats the song name of the trumpet parts? E.g. 55sec-1.32min and also 2.04min-2.27min In the description by Bbinify there are 3 links to the music used, but in none of them is the trumpet.
日本人ですが、アンキーのこの時の演技が1番好きで何年も見続けています。

This will always be the ride of perfection, even 22 years later, for me!
I recorded it on VCR back then and practically wore out the tape, so happy to find it on YT!
Amazing, absolute class. On another level to today’s standard. This is very enjoyable to watch an has flair Thank you
Forever my favourite dressage horse. Was fortunate enough to see him in person at the Sydney Olympics. What a star he was.

And the credit belongs to Anky, nobody else in 1995 was getting this routine out of this horse.
