Instead, we are getting another DC rep in an over-bloating, worse than Nintendo's mad obsession with Fire Emblem. If rumors are true about that pink female bunny, it's a slap in the face for people who are asking for Daffy Duck. It would make better sense to have Dafy with Aqua-Man. 😤

So the odds for the Jason skin are simpler, let me break it down, the chests are representing 1 reward, so if you do loony you get 10 rewards and if you do the easiest you get 1 per run, the 300 at the top right is the maximum amount of rewards you can obtain from this rift, the skin has a 1 in 300 chance of appearing, which if they give you at least 2 weeks for should be fair for most people with gem xp to get, if you only did looney you would have every reward in 5 days including the Jason skin, I don't know how greedy this event will be, but as long as you can't buy more attempts and you get a fair amount of time to get every reward, I would be happy with this type of content in the future
@spart1n8r I'm almost sure perk currency will be an abundant reward which is absolutely useless. How varied do you think the rewards will be, honestly?
@anthonyg1307 I don't expect the rewards to be varied, I'm sure their will even be battlepass xp, fighter road xp, and gem xp which are also worthless, but as long as there a good amount of cosmetics mixed in the filler, and we get some gleamium, I'm mostly happy

To the people complaining that Multiversus is adding loot boxes, it doesn't really sound like that's the case to me. With loot boxes, you're paying money to essentially gamble for a chance to get the item you want. But this new rouge rifts sounds like you can get the rewards for free, you just need to play it. You get 5 chances per day, and the higher the difficulty, the more rewards you get. And it looks like there's a set amount of rewards, so the people who want that new elusive skin (like me) I think the more you play on higher difficulties, the more likely you are to get it. So long as we don't get duplicate rewards when we complete multiple runs, it shouldn't be too bad. So yeah, calling these loot boxes makes them sound worse then they probably are. If they added real loot boxes, THAT would be worth complaining about.
So I tried out the new rough rift. Played it on easy at first just to get a feel for it. Then I moved straight to looney to get a better chance at getting that new Jason skin. And when I got enough points to collect the first chest in the rough rift event, I got the new skin. I am just in total shock that I manged to get it in pretty much my second attempt.
Loot boxes none the less 🤔 def better rollout than I thought but still completing something for an rng loot pool. Glad to hear you got the skin though 🥳🥳🥳

This is by far the worst rift I have ever played, I wouldn't even be mad at it if they didn't give us a limited number of lives, I tried playing the insanity rift since I've passed every insanity rift of season 4, but nearly every battle is a 2v2 and its kinda hard to fight off 2 opponents while trying to rescue ur cpu assistant, tbh the Jason Variant isn't worth it imo, I'm pretty sure u need to collect all 300 boxes to obtain his variant, also its extremely unfair to newer players, like how r they supposed to do this when they have little skill or experience
Yeah its not as bad as I thought. for once this game didnt try to prey upon a good idea :P Luckily they went with a knock out reward system so the more you play the higher your percentage goes up for the jason skin

Having to complete looney difficulty 30 times to get all the rewards just seems bad to me.

I got 45 boxes and I obtain the variant.
It's luck based, most people got it on their first attempt
