This is GTFO, THE hardcore coop horror FPS. Check it out on Steam and get 33% off (i know you want to REALLY badly) gtfo.gl/tuxbird i've been wanting to take my videos in a new direction and this is the first step IN that direction, i hope you enjoyed the product of 2138778614 painstaking hours of figuring this all out. the next video is the one you've been waiting for :)
This game reminds me of deep rock galactic but instead of descending into a infested horror facility after committing horrendous crimes as a death sentence, but instead you descend into a planet’s cave systems working for a soulless corporation that cares more about the minerals and company equipment than you
Yea. Let me paint you a picture. Alarms in this game have "classes," which tell you how long and difficult they are. I believe this level's highest class alarm is either III or IV (3 or 4). Now imagine a level where you have a choice of either 2 class 10 alarms in a row, or dealing with a massive section full of enemies that are either invisible, run 3x faster than you, or are boss type enemies that have 1000 hp each. For comparison, an average striker has 20 hp. Now imagine another level where throughout the entire level (including the stealth sections), you are being chased by an immortal enemy, that runs faster than you, and has ranged attacks, and cannot be gotten rid of in any way. This level also lasts 2 hours+. Do you see how this is the first level now?
@molusk3245 Nah, but the immortal enemy that runs faster than you seems a little bit stupid tho tf? Sounds to me like a Nemesis on crack, but hopefully there's a catch like idk it spawns at the opposite of the map or they give time for you to progress or sth c'mon 💀
@@vid9170 Good thing it's not immortal, even the Scout, but some of them needs more than a person hitting the head with charged melee attack, like the thicc one at the last part of the vid
My favourite thing about this game is while it's a horror shooter, in a way it's also a puzzle game. There'll be tough areas that will require you to figure out the best places for your players, turrets, mines, etc. and if you just try to wing it, you're screwed. My most memorable room was when I had to work with my mates while I was on the terminal, I was given a prompt phrase, them giving a corresponding codeword out, me doing a query lookup to find the final password and entering it to decrypt the payload. The terminal-ing was so involved (even though I'm an active programmer who uses command line all the time) that I was barely able to take a break to help them deal with the endless waves of enemies (WHILE they were busy using other points of interest in room to get me the answers to my prompts) - not to mention if they didn't defend properly I was overrun while on the terminal. If I took to long to do the lookup (like having a typo and hitting enter, the search would take ~5 seconds to tell me there was no entry), or we took to long to find/correlate the words (mind you, the words were all purposefully similar 4 letter words, which made it easy to miscommunicate), the 3 uploads we had to do would take so long that we'd literally run out of bullets before being done. We eventually found a good setup for them, defense for me, and we became good at the word challenges that I had time to empty a mag between terminal commands while uploads/queries happened. It was an incredibly satisfying victory (just to overcome a single room!)
4:39 from the games website about the characters “Isaiah Woods was a religious man of honor and courage who saw too much. The brutality of combat changed him from a spiritual man to a ticking time bomb. When his fuse finally burned down, he went on a rampage and justified it as divine retribution for the evils he saw around him”

Well with this video I can say congrats on beating the tutorial. 👍 All jokes aside though, this is a great video. Quite informative and puts together what the basics of the game are, as well providing some idea of what it’s like to play. Weirdly, I’m kind of glad you guys didn’t show off the later levels as - spoilers - everything you’ve seen is just a few of the challenges and enemies the game presents.

My teams' strait for alarm doors is to have the turrets outside the door to mow down as many as possible before they can break it down. Combine with the fact that you can re-cform the door our only enemy is turrets running out of ammo, n we bring 2 no one runs bio because we got ears and eyes.
If you read this here's some tips for you next time, obviously there's a small radius where melee is audible to enemies, so when they are grouped up you need your team to take them all out at once; their backs are their weak point, the back of the head does the most damage, and they also take more damage if they are asleep still; You can query for many items, so you can use terminals to find ammo n shit if you need to, and the C-Foam can be spewed on the floor as well, enemies who step in it will freeze briefly and take much more damage.
