If anybody is wondering, Gio now works at Adobe and is the main artist/evangelist using Substance Modeler. He still does some polish surface work in Zbrush, but he has all but moved to VR in his form exploration.
Gio that was a fantastic stream. Watched it all on my smart tv, not this account. In case you look and see I didnt view the entire video. Definitely did. Loved the pore section and your description of marching ants. Simply amazing, gotta watch more of your stuff. A++++++!!!

What an outstanding stream! Gio, thank you for your generosity of knowledge and Pixologic for making this possible, especially at this time of current global events. God I love Zbrush!
Really usefull to see, I learnt a lot. The level of detail is incredible, add details on details, It really give life on the model. Zbrush masters are real courses to explore deeper the art. We need more of that! I think the end of the video about production is not relevant because time is precious on Zbrush master and I think it's a waste to spend it with questions that we can esily be answered on standard zbrush stream. Thank you pixologic and Gio Nakpil.
Dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last days xD
Giovanni Nakpil art is truly grotesque. Some of his art I do find disturbing but you don't find someone with his unique style easily. I wonder what would inspired him to do such styles. Game studios should be hiring him to do their monsters like crazy - his assets aren't just "monsters" per se, but there's an unsettling element to it. I feel the same for the monsters in the game silent hill.
Gio is the best. Love his thought process and teaching abilities. Everyone should hunt down his 8 week~ course on forms.
