We hope you might be inspired to watch some of the other icons in our series. We are still going and Doc is too! Saw him last week. None come close to Doc of course... But some come close in their own right!
I met Doc only last week but will never forget those few minutes with him talking knives and leather work, the fact he can immerse into conversation in some many areas is testament to his travels and passion in life, a truly inspirational man...
Thanks for watching! Doc is a long time friend of ours and this work tells a lot of stories of this gentleman. We hope you might be inspired to watch some of the other icons in our series.

True legend 1 of the world's best true tattooist..doc son bill did all my tattooing when I was growing up I lived in devonport at the time and visited the shop many times a week..back then u could get a panther head or rose tattoo for £10 awesome days!! I moved to South Wales in 2007 always brings back memories when I visit family and g drove past tattoo shop..thankyou 2 bill 4 all my tattooing god bless u guys from big Gary

.... thanks so much Gary. Doc is a very, very special man. We were with him today, he came to watch our grand daughters get their hair done next door to his studio!
He certainly is, but rather frail. No longer tattooing. If you are in Plymouth though, you will find him with his son Bill, at Union Street still and they will welcome you gladly!
I've had 2 tatt's done by Doc and 1 by his son and although I think that Doc is the best tattoo artist ever i think that his son ain't far behind him with regards to pure artistic talent. They both have their own way of thinking about designs and if you ask them what they think is the best art for the area you want done they will both have a different but equally excellent suggestion as to what you should seriously consider getting. Now I'm back in Plymouth I can't wait to get back in the shop to get some more work done with them. We have a lot of tattoo parlours in Plymouth but Doc price and his son are without a doubt the best in the city and in my and many other peoples opinion the best in the south of England.
Thanks for your kind words Cliff. See you soon! Make sure you watch the Ashley Cain video on our channel this week. Just a preview... and much more to come.
Absolute magic. Doc Price is someone, one in a million who is true to his convictions, through REAL, hard earned experience. Well worth watching twice!

Beautiful... thank you for taking the time to make that. I've just text the studio to see if this Welsh buddhism-loving Japanophile trainee-tattoist can get him to tattoo her! I've a feeling we would have much to chat about.

Both of my inks are Doc’s work, looking as good now as when they were done in ‘76 and ‘77. Doc sir, you are an absolute legend!
They don’t look as good now, that’s just a lie 😂 but they held up is what you meant.
