Most of the time you lose yourself loving someone and when their gone it can shatter your world. I can relate, it's takens lots of tears, praying and reminding myself a caterpillar turns into a butterfly after being alone in the dark. He's moved and I'm learning to love myself again. I love this song because I can relate.

We were married almost 29 years. God took him from me. But since he has been gone, I found someone.. Very hard because half of me was missing when I lost him.. I had to find that someone again.. At that time I thought that I would never be able to move on, but now that I have man I feel good. I got a great job since her, I travel the country for work, and I feel like a new person. 6 years wasted in my first love, but finding myself has been the experience of lifetime and I wouldn't change a thing.
This happened to me, about a month and a half ago. I was going to leave this song, to the woman I loved for almost 9 years, on the day I left. I became someone I didn't recognize any longer, and she was someone I didn't know anymore. But, things changed, and we were able to start fresh. Things look great for the future, and we both have had to break up, break down, and break through.. to get to the point where we are now. This song hit very hard for me, on a few levels.. absolutely I found myself again. I'll show her this one day, and I'll let her know why I chose it at the time. I'm glad it came back up in my feed... today of all days. If you love someone, always cherish, respect, appreciate and tell them how much they mean to you.. but show them more importantly! I love you R.L and you know who it is!

Even now in 2022 this song has such a impact on me. As I watch a woman I deeply love walk away from our life it has more meaning now than ever. I now know that that I have to move on and somehow rebuild my all life over again. Not sure how I will do it but I guess it will be one day a time.

It worries me however me & my boyfriend broke up. He kept pushing me away because truthfully, he doesn't love himself & would drink himself away once he's done working for the fire dept. I tried everything I can to help him, encourage him, family friends involved, everything. We still end up ending. I'm afraid that when a great guy treats me right & I'm taken, the ex (who's a wonderful sweet man) will come around & it'll be too late for him. His priorities weren't straight in enough time. God has all of our futures, though. We can't overly dwell. Everything happens for a reason.

I fell in love with my friend we've been talking for 3 years and when i stopped talking to him it crushed me. when i found a guy and dated him i had to call my friend and ask him all of these questions and just before we hung up and said that he loves me, my heart stopped tears ran down my face, i had to say it back because it was true. ill never forget that day hes been there for me ups and downs. when my cousin passed away he was the only one that i could talk to i didnt like telling anyone how i feel because im afraid that my family will judge and not like me. ive been through a lot in the past 2 years, i should have been broken into millions of pieces, i knew what i had to do. I've been there. I'm there now. There was this guy my junior year. I really fell for him. You know how I know? He had a girlfriend and even so I wanted him to be happy. Even if that was with someone else. I believe that really loving someone means that you want what's best for them. Me and him really bonded and became and still are great friends. His girlfriend told me that she was kind of jealous of me because he told her that if they hadn't gotten back together that he would've dated me.
