In the Magic Shop skit at the Fifth Muster, Jimin is the flirty Magic Shop shopkeeper who tries to help a struggling JK. This song is a real support to ARMYs for whom it was written.
I love watching people fall in love with BTS. And I don't mean the, "wow, he's handsome" type of love. I mean the absolute magic this group has on a person's heart, mind and soul. It's really not unlike religion. There honestly has never been an artist to fan connection like this one. There's something different, something very special about these guys.
- Magic Shop was specifically made for ARMY. If you check RM's verse it mentioned a line, "I told you that we'd win" (it was in reference to his tweet back in 2015) and that they did and he couldn't believe it. The doubts they had, have been somewhat washed away because of ARMY's support. He also always mention that each person is made of billions of stars and galaxies inside us. They also reference it in other songs like Mikrokosmos. To them ARMY is the reason why they are still standing and kept fighting through all the hardships they face. - In SUGA's verse, he mentioned about his greed/success that used to be his weapon, have now become a leash that chokes him. He reference it in other songs, like The Last, Interlude: Shadow, Snooze.. - The line, "you gave me the best of me. So you'll give you the best of you" i interpret it as them telling ARMY since we can give them our best to support them (voting, buying music, streaming, going to their concerts, etc) we should not forget that we should also give what's best for us, taking care of our physical & mental health, spending time with family & friends. They always remind us those esp in their lives. - the call & response, "So show me, I'll show you" have been a special thing for BTS & ARMY. most of us feel emotional everytime we listen to Magic Shop because it helped many of us during the dark moments of our lives. It personally helped me when i was in a bad place mentally. The last time we heard this live was during JK's Golden showcase in Seoul as he co-wrote & co-produced this song.

It is unique. The connection just isn't the same with any other idol group or artist. Others may *look* very similar, but those other artists do not speak the same defined language as BTS to their fans. Personally, I think Stray kids are more entertaining in their music, but their lyrics don't touch the depth of human understanding, just the human condition at it's absolute core, like BTS. RM, I think, isn't just intellectually intelligent, he's emotionally intelligent, he's probably the most genuine person ever in the entertainment industry. And he encourages the other members the same in his leadership. I really do hope that he runs for office in SK or to some other world leadership role. I think the world of politics could learn a lot from him.

Magic Shop always makes m teared up especially after we (bangtan x army) went through all the sh* starting August 2024 🥲. It was def not the first hardship that bts and army went through, but it was my 1st one as an army

Love magic shop. There is nothing better than when a band you love loves their fans back. They want us to be happy, comforted, healthy. It is importantly to know that their love for their fans is very genuine, which is why so many respond to their songs and the boys themselves. They are really honest about their struggles, and are willing to show that to ARMY, so that they in turn can be honest about our struggles so we do not feel alone. It’s honestly very refreshing to me to see the amount of love they have for their fans. I would love you to react to We Are Bulletproof:The Eternal, as it is a fan song as well. But the MV has a lot of call backs to their previous MVs which I am not sure if you saw all of them, as well as when they sang it during COVID in their ON:E concert is very powerful, as Jimin was really holding back from breaking down singing it ( can’t remember which day of that particular video was from), it was very emotional to watch. But the call backs are to Danger, Not Today, Spring Day, Boy With Love, to name a few….

The song has never left the charts, as far as I know. I will recommend that for Spring Day you might want to invest some time with either Italian ARMYs explanation video or the one by Rotten Mangos ( although that one is very long, it is one of the very best reports on what happened and the senseless loss of life. The one by Italian ARMYs is shorter, and ties itself more directly with the MV. This one is a bit hard to watch as it is hard to keep up with the subtitles though). The Sweol Ferry incident is very hard to watch though, as there were 300 lives lost with 250 being school aged kids, and a completely dismal failure of the people in charge to save them. It is heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time, and even though this happened years ago, it still breaks your heart. BTW, They wrote the song before the incident, but the MV was after.

The second you started singing... I knew you got it. This song always, always brings a tear to my eye, not because it's sad, but because it's such a precious and beautiful gift they gave us. The song makes the whole crowd promise to show BTS that we can love ourselves as much as we love them. They're saying, you believed in us and made our dreams come true. We believe you can do the same thing for yourselves. This song has literally saved lives. It's Jungkook's song but not alone - he thought of it based on something Namjoon had said about our galaxies. The rappers wrote their own lyrics and he had a songwriting team. But the idea was his - there are people who like to jump up to claim he didn't write it because there are other people credited 🤣 who have apparently never looked at any song credits except to try to take this away from JK. It's Jungkook's song but not alone - he thought of it based on something Namjoon had said about our galaxies. The rappers wrote their own lyrics and he had a songwriting team. But the idea was his - there are people who like to jump up to claim he didn't write it because there are other people credited 🤣 who have apparently never looked at any song credits except to try to take this away from JK.

I highly recommend their group song "Jump" live performance. It showcases an aggressive and energetic vibe of young BTS, which is quite different from "Magic Shop." 😁😁I think this performance is especially a must-see for rappers! You will love it! Happy new year!!!
