I'll try this when I purchase one of those pots but have just seen the price of them and I'm drying my tears 😭 but I'm certainly going to get one as a Christmas present to myself. 👍
I know that the price is a little bit high, but trust me, it deserve the money. You can cook anything you want and you have control of the temperature and also the time of cooking. I just love it.
I have an old Crock pot (8 years and going strong!) which was £15(GBP) on sale. It doesnt show temperatures or have the browning feature but alongside a meat thermometer and a frying pan you can make it work on a budget!
Hi there! Thank you so much for sharing and advising! Before getting the GreenPan, when I wanted to sear a piece of meat, I used a frying pan and then transferred it to my CrockPot, which also has only two functions: high and low.🙂
@CookingwithSimonaI’m looking for a omnicooker as well. But I doubt between de omnicooker or the slowcooker from greenpan. Does the omnicooker do a good job with slow cooking and is the pan not too big for let say 1,5 / 2 litres of soup for example?
