I have been in Nz for more than 10 years . Just like everyone else I started from the bottom. I had a humble beginning . Sad to say this please stay away from your own people I’ve met so many hypocrites during my time in New Zealand. They all had this typical Sri Lankan attitude. You cannot move forward with those kind of people. Most of the Sri Lankan employers who run business in nz exploit their own people( employees) that is the bitter truth. My advice is that try your best to find a local employer in New Zealand they are nice and friendly. Kiwis are laidback people. They treat their employees with respect and you get more exposure to the New Zealand culture!!
