None of us were I remember back in 2019 listening to them hoping they'd return and to my surprise they finally did and their new album is pretty good from what I heard I only heard 2 songs wisdom and without warning and I really like it

I am super excited to learn that Altaria is back. Divinity is one of the best melodic metal albums ever and I still spin it on a regular basis. Hope this lineup sticks around and produce more albums and tours.

Glad to hear that Altaria are back and keeping that unique mid-2000s sound which made Divinity and Fallen Empire so memorable. Taage still sounds fantastic, guitar melodies are on point and it has that earworm chorus which characterised so many classic Altaria tracks. Genuinely one of my favourite bands of all time, I still listen to so many songs from Invitation through to Fallen Empire regularly and have done since they were released. I didn't really take to Unholy, so I'm glad this track seems to stick more towards the pre-2009 direction of the band. Taage's vocals obviously play a big part in that. Can't wait for the album to be released!

Good Instrument sound quality, pretty crisp and clear particularly in the verse, bass guitar is audible which is nice. Maybe the rhythm guitar is not as loud in this as fallen empire but really good recording and mixing quality given how weird the sound quality in most stuff in 2020s has been (stuff like beast in blacks new album where instruments have a strange electronically generated sound and are very blended into the background quiet and underwhelming). Not the most catchiest or hard hitting of chorus melodies I've heard but at least there is a chorus and it is structured standarly. It is very listenable none the less. Glad altaria is back this good form. Bodes well for a couple of good gems in this album

On the contrary with some old songs, I miss the power and energy, unfortunately. Maybe a bit more speed could help not to sound so sleepy.
Not a fan of these lyrics at all. No such thing as wisdom? What an idiot thing to sing. The music was decent enough. But not a fan of these lyrics at all.
I usually never respond to critique on music or lyrics I've been a part of creating, but this time I'll make an exception. I actually was a little afraid that someone would interpret the lyrics literally when I wrote them. Of course everyone is allowed to find their own meaning in lyrics, but the idea of this one is, that when it comes to rock'n roll, no one can tell you how things should be, or how they should be done. Just trust your own instincts and visions. Creating art is in a way like solving a riddle. At some point you just feel the creation is ready, even though you haven't followed anyone's rules or whatever opinions people might have. This is NOT a song about conspiracies or the state of the world today! It's important to remember that lyrics often are abstract, just like a lot of art in general.
