- I've always thought Solus was my favorite boss fight in the game, so I was really excited for Rank 2 ~
And I really like it! There's still Walls and Pillar, but some moves allow so much DPS to be made, like the Rod in the middle...or if you're lucky, a bunch of mines that can explode if it chooses to stab forward.
The large number of mines that we place in the middle are extremely important, especially with PB Generation. Unfortunately, Solus decided to do its second twirly wall after Break, instead of before Break. This interfered with where I usually use my 4th PB and made a kind of silly whiff I thought was funny enough to keep in.

Great run as always! Is that launcher step lmb at 1:11? how were you able to do it that fast? And it is better than charged razing that may hit part of solus' body too? Thanks!
Hi Angel! Thank you ~ Launcher Step is only worth it with Launcher Attack Reinforce. It's great for Eggs because it's frontloaded and you can fit in multiple steps comparable to 1st-stage-charge razing with 3-4 hits, in windows where charged razing would be too slow. It's a very slight optimization -- try to mix charged razing with LAR steps to fully utilize those windows between Solus' attacks. Good luck! 😊

@@KatydidYT Hi sorry kat another question, does it matter if you blight the staff or belly during p2? Ppl say the multiplier is the same. Does that mean you just always blight staff since it's easier for razing to get more hits? even when staff is broken? Thanks!
@@angelkitteh6641 Yes, the multiplier on staff is the same as core. If your party is comfortable with staff-only, then you can go for it. Otherwise, if some members prefer the core for certain prefire setups on their class, then you can discuss with them!

Not yet! They always release a UQ version eventually, but not at the moment.
