I thouroughly enjoyed participating in the Ipsa CAL, even though I got a bit sidetracked with other projects and life things. The Sona Blanket Cal will be awesome: it's such a treat to get to learn a new technique to use in this and many other projects. Thank you for your patterns and designs, and your eagerness to share your creativity!
I'm curious why you charge US dollars for your patterns, when you are in Australia? I find the $65+ Australian dollars out of my reach and suspect it is out of the reach of many. I realise that the pattern is 'free' for a 24 hour period, which I do appreciate, but all it takes is for me to have to be in Hospital again when the pattern releases for me to miss out. The chances that I will miss many releases is very high. I have been a supporter since your first release and have purchased all but one of CAL patterns. I love your designs. I know some reading this will remind me that there are 70+ squares that have been designed and therefore the price of USDL$40 or AUSDL $65+ is fair. To them I would say that over the years I have done many CALs which include multiple square designs for free or less than half of the Sona. I know you put many months of designing into creating the CAL and for that I thank you. Perhaps you might consider a period of time during which the pattern is offered for 50% off - this seems to work well for other designers. I will still be taking part as a year without one of your designs wouldnt seem normal 😃 Thank you, Sam.
Excited to start this CAL!

15:33 I have the same neck lamp - absolutely invaluable!!
Don't know if I will do the blanket, but I will do the swatches to learn the technique. It's beautiful!
You said you’d be explaining how this differs from the previous Tunisian mosaic technique you had used? (Unless I missed that explanation)
