On a civic? No. They're fun cars but they're limited in capability and will always be a Civic. To me there's a definite ceiling for build budgets on civics. That is currently $12000. I'm better off with a 350z past that point as its performance is better by every metric in stock form and generally good condition '08 350z's go for about $13000.

Damn I haven’t heard the name Mugen since the first Hot Import Nights car show back in the late 90’s. I remember back then every tuner was trying to get their hands on anything Mugen good times.
I could definitely appreciate that civic build, 24 years ago nearly everybody My age was in to these cars because they were absolutely fun to drive with the capability of swapping engines and adding turbo kits. That was nearly every kids dream in the late 90s early 2000s to drive a fully built civic or integra!! Majority of the kids back then we get in the catalog and spend every last penny ordering headers exhaust intake, body kits, rims, or an engine swap to make them go faster. To me it was a much better time before every kid wanted a really expensive new challenger or charger with 700 hp and more, back then 24 years ago, we were happy with something with four wheels and an engine and starting from the ground up, and either you did a shitty job or you did a good job and got respect for it 🤷♂️😂

Fg360 Mugen steering wheel. Idk bout it being over $6k, saw once for sale for less than $5k. But that’s probably because I live in Asia & probably the market here is different than the US.
To a enthusiast its worth up to 25k depending what othwr parts it has to the average person is a old honda in good condition so to them its worth $500-$1500
They’re fun cars to drive with manual, but only the 80’s to early 00’s Civics actually have the toss-able feel, tons of torque off the line, and 115hp being enough to get to 60 in 8.4 secs. I’ve had an ‘88 sedan, ‘06 Hyrbid (awful awful car), and an ‘01 Coupe. The hybrid felt extremely weak with the CVT, and the turning radius almost had me going over a curb every time. Why would someone spend 10k on a valve cover? Is there some aspect of that that I’m missing? Is it not just to keep oil in, debris out, and look pretty on the occasions that you open the hood?
Well it's actually worth about 1,000 dollars due to the milage but for an enthusiast that loves these cars it could be worth any number that person is willing to pay to have it but as rare as some of those parts are it doesn't really make the car worth more you would get more by selling the parts than for the whole thing
