The blue and white was my favorite on you. I’m not as much of a fan of the red wrap, but I think that’s a personal bias. I’m 5’2”, and EVERYTHING is long on me. I can’t wear pieces like that because I would trip on them and hurt myself. 😜 It looks nice on you, just not something I would buy for myself. And I agree, we all need to buy what we love! I'm still waiting for the BIG & TALL section/clothing. My daughter is 6' 270 lbs... 😔 it's so difficult for her to find clothing in stores I always tell her I'll look on The Zon (Amazon) but it's so hard to find cute clothes for big & tall. Ughhh

I love The Zon!! I have never heard it, and I think it is staying! It is so difficult to find anything in store! I will say that I went to Marshall’s and Nordstrom Rack this weekend and had very good luck! Torrid is nice. I have also found nice dresses at Dillards. Online I love City Chic! I’m constantly looking for more great brands and hope that you find great stuff for your daughter!
My cousin is over 6' tall and she has had to learn how to sew because there was nothing. It's frustrating.

You made me look back at an order I had and it was an InVoland shirt you are correct they are very nice, it is a cotton summer button up shirt it is very light weight and comfortable, I love it, will say I thought it was a little generous in size and I love that dress that had some stretch that was blue and white

I like the long sleeve shirt untucked. Love both of the last two dresses. Big Vera Bradley fan so surprised that wasn’t one I liked most. I think a larger size might make a difference. I think an inch longer would help.

Thank you, LaJuana- yeah, that one was too small! I put it on and it was snug on my arms, but watching the film back, the waistline is just bad! The pockets fall I. The wrong place and the waist is just rough!
@@BigonStyle I couldn’t see all of that on my small screen but a shame because I do love some Vera Bradley. Well I did when it was made in the US. Not as much now though I did get a huge duffle at their outlet in Williamsburg last year. And a lanyard for my keys. It would match your lemon dress. Ha. Not really but the lanyard is their lemon pattern. I do love a colorful lanyard! The only way I can keep up with little things. 😂

@@BigonStyle she sold the business years ago. I used to love the Villager style bag and have maybe six if different patterns, mostly monogrammed so I’ll keep them forever even though ever since Covid I rarely carry a bag at all unless I need to discreetly carry my water bottle.
BTW did you get to see the eclipse yesterday? We had just a whisper of it here in eastern NC but it was still a little eerie.

I was really surprised with how much I liked the blouse. I also have problems with gaping and tend to avoid button-ups because getting it large enough for the bust makes the rest sloppy looking. That one was well-proportioned and you looked awesome. I loved your choices and appreciate your helpful input regarding sizing and fabrics.🦋

I don't wear polyester much at all, and definitely not knit polyester. Some people think it's cooling, but it feels like saran wrap to me.

Oh yes, I am definitely a floral gal too. I really loved the dimensional floral dresses from your last video. Yes, I watched the last 3 out of order, but the flowers took precedence over the rest. lol. My fav was the tangled princess fairy tale dress the most. The flowers. The colors. THOSE SLEEVES!!! SWOON!

The puffed sleeved white and red shirt looks so good on you definitely a keep. The dark blue one looked ok when you hid your natural waist line with the cardigan. Geez the waist line looked so low because that dark blue line before you added the cardy I have a higher waist line to so I would have returned that one.
I think you are probably right on the return- I didn’t see it as much when I turned it in as when I saw it editing the video.

At 5'4", I don't think the maroon cardigan would work for me - but it definitely looks good on you! I think it works ok with the shorter dresses. My favorite was the blue and white dress. The darker triangles gave you a really nice shape. I wasn't fond of the teal floral dress, not because of the style (great) or the florals (nice) but the teal was a little washed out on you. Maybe in person it's brighter? I knew the blue print dress wasn't going to work out. I bought two from Amazon, don't know the maker, but something is off about them. Maybe the print hits at the wrong place, it's not stretchy so accentuates the wrong area, it's too short/too long, etc. Thank you for brightening a dreary, rainy day for releasing a video this morning. PS I also like the other cardigan too but it might also be a little long on me.
I think that it was the packets on that bandana style dress for me- they kind of pooched out right at my love handles - it just did not work! Did you size up? I’m really wanted to love that one!

Have you ever considered an AVON clothing haul ? I have been buying their clothes tops & dresses SOME shoes since almost when they started the lines. I so loved the line they carried in the off shhot catalog MARK. I just got the tan open hole crochet tan sweater from the newest collection. Love it ! A cami is needed under it. I have all I purchased as quality is good ! Love the dresses best they have a 3x I wear lane bryant 26/28 or 30/32 insome bottoms. Torrid 6-30/32 I' m pear shaped at 5'2-1/2" and 300-320# hope this info helps. The length if avon says maxi & short like me..might have to hem.I have a tropical print dress from jeesh 5 -6 yrs ago it said maxi but fit like midi. Dress from fall 2023 saidmidi fits like maxi..love them any ways !!

The print on the second dress (stretchy) was much more flattering. The first fabric with the pattern change right across the belly really draws attention to the tummy area. Maybe if they made The bottom pattern band smaller or lower it would be ok.
I think that you are right- even with sizing up, I think there is a high likelihood that the print would fall poorly
I agree with your picks. The red shirt was shorter than it looked on the model, you're 5'10" but the models were 5'7"-9". That drives me nuts! And I noticed several brands offering what looks like the same shirt at different prices. I've always been curious if they are the same. The floral boho dress is in a print I remember from Shein. I haven't shopped on TEMU.
I need to see if I can find the same item on a bunch of sites and compare them with prices! That actually sounds like a fun video! (Not as fun when you are shopping and don’t get the best value!)

I really like the last two dresses you wore. I’m more pear than apple shaped so I like a little more room at the bottom and that cardigan is perfect. I love the dog. My manager in Austin has a shepadoodle who looks similar.

I have the same sizing problem. What I don't understand is why does the colors on the advertisement look different than what they send to people? I was thinking that the first dress needed to flair out a little after the waist (A-Line) to look it's best, and my thoughts were confirmed when you tried on the second dress which does just that, looks great on you. Love the light green with flowers on it. It looks great on you too!
Sandra, I thought that with the red- the pattern seemed thinner on the model and the color was off. I know that dye lots can vary quite a bit, but sometimes the difference is drastic!
Great haul! I'll have to check out that brand. Florals! I used to follow a girl on Facebook who said she was so glad she'd lost weight so she could get away from florals. I was thinking, what is she talking about? I love florals as a plus size, but I loved florals as a kid and teen long before I ever knew what plus size even meant.

What has your experience been with that two piece short set you got from them? Does it wash and wear well?
Hey Dana- thank you, I hope that you love the dress! I have washed the short set and it didn’t shrink at all. If I’m honest, it isn’t one of my favorite/go tos, but I have worn it on a Saturday cleaning around the house. It almost has a linen feel-not soft at all, but washes like a poly-blend, so very little wrinkles. All in all- comfortable, not super-stylish, great for home-days for me.
Cue stuff I know it can be tough to find but would love to see more cotton. Maybe Talbots. or ulla Popken?

@@BigonStyle I'd love to see your Ulla Popken. There is soooo much on that site and some of it is too European for me, but their cotton fabrics feel amazing. Talbots has a lot of cheerful color and I appreciate that. Their sizing runs big for me.
True. Always check the actual size chart. Most things made in China are sized that a 5 xl only an 18 in US sizes.

@@BigonStyle I'm also allergic to wool, mohair, cashmere, etc. Fortunately there are some nice acrylic knits for cardigans, etc.
Do you have any recommendations for outfits that are natural fabrics, such as cotton, hemp, linen? No polyester, bamboo, etc. I like a bit of stretch, but I much prefer natural fabrics.
I had clothes come in from Pure Plus- a family owned company in the UK. They were primarily cotton and linen. Alternatively, I have found some nice linen in the past at Talbots.
It is remarkably difficult to find natural fibers!
I need some nice-ish clothes (my husband is a minister and I don't want my frumpy mom-wear to reflect badly on him). But man, I am having a difficult time finding budget-friendly natural fibers.

I have been really pleased with Lane Bryant, Democracy, and Kut from the Kloth. They all seem to fit well without being too tight on my waist or leaving that gap in the back.

I would keep the blue short sleeved dress, the long sleeved blouse is my favorite piece, and the beige cardigan is practical. The red cardigan(?) Is a camouflage piece that is not necessary for you. It screams "fat girl". The tshirt was ok. The other pieces were not flattering.
