Ok, so possibly what may have helped is mana boots/greaves, if you had it ready to pop after your aghs mana shield, I think several fights would have gone your way.
Really nice insights, on the new patch, I'm a little late so luckily I can already see they fixed most of what you talked about!

I haven't played dota in a while let alone ability draft
So how's innate ability that's tied to the spell, aka the ones that you immediately get 1 lv on the tied spell and you can level it up to 5
For example TA gets 1 lv in psi blades, what happen if you get TA but doesn't pick psi blades?

Right now, innates that are abilities are still in the draft (and not tied to the hero), so even if you aren't TA, you can pick psi blades and you'll start the match with them level 1. It makes sense but kind of unfair because people with passive innates keep theirs still.
