This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
great job Joey, they look beautiful. I just finished two at 3.6 metres each , used 8 pieces of 10mm dia steel bar inside each one to hold them up. Made from two pieces of 18 mm MR stuck together.
I recently bought a carbide tipped blade from Highland woodworking. Slightly thicker than your standard blade but once tracking properly, cuts a great thin veneer!
Looks great, but how practical not having any doors etc to put your private stuff? I mean everything would be too exposed for the guests etc if you put it on there
Lovely work but that bathroom looks like it's going to be a wetroom - won't the wood swell with the moisture ? Caveat emptor - I'm interested in woodwork but have never done any, so I don't know if that is even a thing !
It is a water proof pva (so the package says) though I don't expect it to have to repel water as the 4 coats of water based polyurethane should keep it all safe 😁
Tony; I am a custom Carpenter and contractor! I enjoy your talent so much I named my little business “Kings Table Custom Finish Carpentry”! You my friend and a true craftsman ! I tried your work belt system but sorry “Mate” I needed more! I sport a Buckaroo belt and can Cabinet makers pouch along with another pouch! Seriously as a side line note ; sometimes it’s the little stuff that keeps us afloat? Vanities , Butcher Block tops, large cutting boards on wheels? You are so custom it’s great but here in the states ppl would kill for your boards? Right on Tony! Keep working here what I used to say (all my kids are raised now) “I gotta work? Something wrong with the kids? They have this issue where they gotta eat & it’s pricy”! JD
Nice job as always. I enjoy and learn very much watching your videos. Thaks for doing it and please keep on doing. Woodworking is not my job, so perhaps the question no proceed. But, why didn't you veneered the sides before the top and botom?. As you did it, the side of the veneer it's seen from top. (I'm from Spain, sorry if my english is not good, i expect you understand the question).
im certain it didnt take him 5 months to actually construct these boxes, i think he meant 5 months from when he accepted the job and started with the steel brackets until he finished it by making the shelves and installing them!
I'm impressed that the tile allowance lined up. I can't imagine how much the studs moved after you installed the steel brackets... Bravo.
Yea I added about 15mm extra width to my slots in the shelves , which I needed all of

Turned out beautiful! Great job in stretching the amount of wood you had to work with and turning it into a very nice piece. Great craftsmanship!
I remember back when a vanity was only a little larger than the size of the basin. Those shelves are huge! 👍
Beautiful craftsmanship! Thanks for showing how it’s done.

Nice

Nice Joey, will be interesting to see how they treat the drains... keep the videos coming!
Amazing craftsmanship! That bathroom is lit!
Incredible woodworking skills and beautiful results as always
Cheers
Poor Joey. You can tell this was a really shitty experience for him. But he soldiered through like the true professional he is and got it done.
Great build, install and also great looking with the tile. Great job mate..
Looks great, but how practical not having any doors etc to put your private stuff? I mean everything would be too exposed for the guests etc if you put it on there
Absolutely beautiful work! Perfect for my new Octagon shaped house! Where do I find those brackets and where do I get them?
I had them made by a local steel guy
Awesome trick with the plywood and planer. It's nice when you see something new.
It looks awesome against the black tiles!
That came out pretty damn good, had not really appreciated how big they were from your Insta pictures 👍👍👍
Cheers
missing footage.. ha ha ha.. damn that looks sweet, great work as always Joey!
thats a news design!! agree with her or not have to give her that much she is one creative customer

Could've been really nice to run the plumbing through the torsion boxes as well, though would've complicated it a heap!
Bro, you look like Chris Martin of Cold Play, just more handsome. Awesome work mate.
Nice job on the floating vanity Joey! Thank you for sharing the video with us.👍👌😎JP
I get the feeling those shelves are going to have holes put into them for the drains of the 2 basins? I hope they don't mess up your awesome work...
Me too!
What do I need in order to make the hole in the wood, only silicon will do?
Also, do you put silicon on the wood/sink so it won’t move?
Great work! What did you use to treat the wood against water damage?
They look stunning mate. Would love to see how they hold up with the moisture.
I'll say it was poor Ply, But it did the job. An Artist at work, well done Joey.
Oeh very fancy, nice design!
Well done Joey, as always, well done.
Great video! Thanks for making it - it has inspired me to try some shop sawn veneering.
How will the sink drains attached ?
Hi. I have already layed the tiles how do I support the floating shelves?
Nice one. And a good idea for my new home.
How you fit wash basin on it
Great Job Nicely Done 👍🏽🔨🪚📐📝
Joey, I can only assume that you use PVA glue to stick the veneers on. Is the glue itself water proof? since its being used in wet conditions?
It is a water proof pva (so the package says) though I don't expect it to have to repel water as the 4 coats of water based polyurethane should keep it all safe 😁
Hello Mr. Timber you really do a grate job the question is do you survive from this job this is way you do only?or you have another job?. Thanks
This is my only job. Custom furniture.
Where did you get those braces for the life of me I cannot find them💔🥺
Custom made
@@KingPostTimberWorks oh! 🥺 Thanks anyway
If i may ask, whats the hight of the top of the vanity from the floor without the sink installed.
Great work as usual, thanks for sharing!
where did you get the steel l shape
Looks great, are you seriously gonna trust the plumber to drill holes for the sink waste tho?!
Yup that way I can't stuff it up
What kind of clear coat did you use to finish this piece?
Man, that looks amazing. 👍🏽
Just cranking out the videos! Nice work. First. Haah
Nice job. Proper floating hardware too.
Yup custom brackets
@@KingPostTimberWorks Do you welded those yourself or had them made ?
@@PoisoneDrummer had them made
Great job Joe
Looks awesome, I really like the character that you left from the nail holes.
Really nice looking.

Killer work!
wow nice dangerous edges!
You’re brave cutting/sanding rimu without a mask. That stuff is nasty. But looks great.
Do u sell them ?
what do you use to apply the poly?
Wow and cost of building this with all materials is more than whole barhroom 🤣
Get a lot of dunny role on that bottom one. Security.
Sweet baby Jesus! Those are massive and beautiful! 😍
Great job

Good job
It always surprises me how long it takes just to make a couple of "boxes...."

I see darkness. Bad design.
Your comment does not explain how or what is bad about the design,
Nice one. And a good idea for my new home.
