In Mangalore Many Malayalis are there its difficult to identify their mother tongue because they are so fluent in Tulu & Kannada along with Malayalam ✔️

Malayalam and Kannada are a lot similar. Kannada is not hard to learn from a Malayali perspective.
He is born and brought up in Bangalore..... So easy for him to learn the language
