Kut N Kru was a powerhouse. Legendary stuff. Denver/Colorado just didn't have the huge support of the state for the local music scene back then (like you would see in the Bay Area, Houston/Tx, ect). Me, I've been a denver rap head since I was a little kid. My brother rapped and made beats (did stuff with Felony - Foreverlasting Records), which Hit Em Get Em was my first denver rap CD at 9 years old in 1999, brother gave me the Unforgotten Ridaz Infiltration cd around that same time, which I listened to obsessively and bought almost all of their other CDs. He also gave me the Spanish Poets Invading Colorado Streets cassette, all of which started me on my love for our Denver music. Got my first Kut N Kru cd, Nightbreed from Wax Trax in 2001, then MNLD, Black Hole Posse, Boozilla, ect. Grew up off the Denver music, and all of it influenced my own.
