People who get rewarded fan calls are so weird and disrespectful. Thankfully there's some that actually go to tell them how amazing they are and that they're great but they should really add a skip button on these fan calls.
it's because a lot of these people spend a ridiculous amount of money. a lot of the people who win fan calls win them almost every time, you can see idols address it more than once that they recognize someone or even know their regular background. so a lot of these people are entitled.
I do think it would work like this if they do similar to radio podcasts Where they take random selected calls to talk in the topic/ask questions Sure people be fighting to death in order to catch the line with all the simultaneously dialed ringing but also those who pick the calls would probably check in with the caller before passing it to the Idol

The number of inappropriate or freaking weird fan calls seems to grossly outweigh the handful of genuinely cute or wholesome ones.
