Awesome video man. One thing I want to add. The camera has the most dynamic range in 4k30 fps. It shoots in 14bit instead of 12bit. This is something not many people know about but it’s a feature you see on much more expensive cinema cameras.

For real? I did not know that. I'll look into it more. Thank you very much for the info and also for watching and commenting!
I’m holding out for the X-H3S…. I hope Fuji continues to send firmware to improve the autofocus of the newer cameras as an X-S20 and X100VI (hopefully soon) owner…
7:09 My X-T5 also has a slightly squishy card door (fractions of a millimeter). I think that’s probably just the elasticity of the weather seal and it’s making good contact by itself- harder elastics are more prone to cracking as they age, in my experience, so that’s probably a good thing.

Hmm I guess it makes sense! Thanks for watching and commenting.
my door also feels a bit squishy but ive used it in a downpour in Shibuya Japan , on a sail boat in Hawaii and Snow in Japan and it all survived. my Sony a7r3 did act up a bit after those adventures and each scenario i had to let it air dry in the sun with wind to stop the weird bug outs on the buttons and LCD screen.

Yeah probably it is like that. I did not have any issues so far so all good. Hey btw do you also have some issues with the camera taking a long time to wake up when it is in sleep mode. But it doesn't do it often, sometimes, and I cannot understand why or how
@ I have encountered that before. I think it did happen once while I was in Japan. I had to turn off camera and turn it back on. I think with the first set of firmware updates I had to take the battery out and put it back in. But so far I haven't experienced too much like before.
@ some of your commenters are real low integrity people. Did I ever say Fuji AF is crap? I said behind equal to DP1 and that you need to know your lens and settings just like you said in your video. Can’t believe Fuji fan boys like those guys are what makes Fuji look bad.
Hello from Portugal, do you the XH2s cam shoot with flash on electronic shutter at any speed? Yes it does!!! I have two. I came from two Xt4s. And yes the door of the cards have de same problem. Hugs and thanks

I honestly do not know as I very seldom use flash.
the card door issue pissed me the fuck off, i solved it by putting thick tape on the contact points all over the door, so there isnt anyempty space, no movement now.

For me the most important was to be sure it was water resistant. But what pisses me is the fact that the camera sometimes takes a shit ton of time to actually turn on. I mean like 2-5 seconds when I press the shutter button! Do you have that issue as well?
not really, no. i shoot JPEG preset film sims only with vintage lenses, so that delay wouldnt really bother me anyway, i even specifically set the clarity option because i like the delay between photos, forces me to think more BEFORE taking it.
can you please elaborate what was it that left your clients unsatisfied regarding the xt-4 files?

Ciao Georgino! Very good question. It was not the files, so the client doesn't really complain about the quality BUT they very often I find myself in situations where I cannot repeat the scene, certain types of events where I have to shoot hybrid(photos and videos) and I cannot allow myself to miss the shot. It can happen and maybe the clients won't really notice that much at first but with time it can become an issue. XT4 files are lovely! A pleasure to work with! But the camera's performance in situations where a faster autofocus is required is not a very good. Also as I mentioned being able to shoot 6.2K open gate allows me to offer more content for different platforms for clients. I can be a faster photographer and content creator with the XH2S. That's what I was meaning. Unfortunately nowadays clients are getting used to having things done ASAP, or my clients are used to it and XH2s delivers a better result. X-T4 is a very valid camera and it also delivers but not as reliable and fast. And last but not least, I will admit it without any problem a certain dose of: "I want this new camera" was involved. But I did wait quite a long time to get it and thought about it as well. Very good question though! I liked it. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment :)
I love my XH2S. I don't see rolling shutter issues anymore when I'm on trains filming out the window and doing quick pans. Also Fuji colors makes it so nice. Yeah, the AF is like going back 10 years or more ago with Sony and Canon but like you said, you need to learn the camera/lens to figure out the settings for the conditions you are in at that moment. Can be frustrating and I do have a Sony a7r3 for high resolution photos and even with that it still misses some shots too. 18-55 f2.8 just slaps and using the viltrox 27mm f1.2 is also nice too. I left the Canon eco system for Fuji and only bought the Sony because my friend is a sony ambassador and he always eggs me for not switching with him from Canon to Sony so I finally gave in and bought a used a7r3 to try instead of the XH2 for the 40 pickles XD.
@@funfor1life the AF feels like it’s back in years compared to the competition of Sony and canon. The supposed AI chip that Fuji uses doesn’t seem to be doing the same calculations as the AI chip that Sony has. Feels like my M series Canon lineup AF which are dated now.
@@funfor1life I don’t remember now since I’m eating dinner and watching anime so my mind is off the topic already. I’m having pizza with cola and watching some of the last episodes of this winter season on Crunchyroll.

@funfor1life I totally agree with you! I think it is very good, at least so far it hasn't let me down🤞🏻
Tried the XS10 some time ago and I did not like the form factor and a few other things but with the new updates it should be pretty cool! One card slot would be the main issue but it also depends on what you shoot.
that's ridiculous how everyone who is in fuji ecosystem say that x-h2s is great but don't buy it 😂. I just tired of hunting af-c on my x-t4 (somehow my x-e4 is better in low light with fast lenses and same af settings), so I'm on the fence between switching to other system or giving fuji one more chance. I love fuji lenses so much, that I will not sell x-e4 and 50f1, and 18f2, and 27f2.8, omg...😊 btw I'm nikon shooter in the past also

It is because you can just get the XT5 or XH2 for less with almost the same features and AF. I got this on super sale almost at the same price of an XH2. I took advantage of it. To me it is mostly a matter of: if you don't make money with the camera it's not worth buying it. Either that or you have a lot of money. I think you should give fuji another chance, especially with that collection of lenses. Maybe try the X-T5.
I agree it is totally worth it. I can't wait for them to add touch to track and the red rec box this spring.
Likewise!
I will buy it in 4 Years
Why 4 years? Lower prices?
@ I have my first camera xt20 and learning first... don't want to Overkill
Fair pont adam!
I had a XT1, then a XPro2, and now I have a X-H1. What improved my photographies ? ---> IBIS.
Very valid point! It also depends on what type of photos and videos you make

Can confirm my XH2S also has a squishy door.
Thanks for letting me know, at this point I think it is just like that.
I also have the X-H2s and I do have the same problem with the card door. Never had real troubles because of it but it feels cheap 😕
More than cheap it feels like I should worry if I shoot in the rain ahah
