Very interesting....I´ve never really thought about that issue, lol, true though. What´s the Capital of California?
Capital of California would be Sacramento. Or as some Californians call it, “Suckramento” lol.
I´ve noticed that when you speak in English the timbre or tone of your voice changes. Why is it that most Brazilian Americans do that? Is that natural or on purpose? The tone of voice does not define an accent. or does it?. Keep up with the good work.
You made a really great point! I believe the tone of voice “can” define an accent, but most certainly does not have to, and I’d say in the majority of cases it doesn’t. A lot of times detail of our voice changes when speaking different languages due to the different octaves and pitches that are required in different languages and their words. For example, some words in certain languages you pronounce with the back of your mouth versus front etc.
