Yeah, Maximus telling Thaddeus was a bad idea. What's worse, he didn't properly explain to Thaddeus what happened to Titus. He just said "he's dead" with no further explanation.
Tbf in my current run-thru I'm basically a god walking around using a cheat mini-nuke handgun and I still jump throughout the game, but it's still tons of fun. Always great to see you return to the wasteland! Always beautiful too ❤
Finding out that the NCR got nuked was a big shock for fans of the games. And has been a pretty divisive choice in the fan base. A brief history of the NCR, it was founded by former residents of Vault 15, a vault that was deliberately overcrowded by Vault-Tec and filled with people with conflicting political beliefs. We see its founding in Fallout 1 (set in 2161) and by Fallout 2 (set in 2241) it has become a stable and powerful nation that rules Southern California. By the time of Fallout New Vegas (set in 2281) it rules all of California and is expanding into Nevada and Baja California (modern day Mexico). At some point between Fallout 2 and Fallout New Vegas they also had a war against the Brotherhood of Steel, which they won. So the fact that the Brotherhood can openly operate in California now is only because the NCR is no longer there to keep them in check. One of the big criticisms fans have of the newer Fallout games (especially Fallout 3 (set in 2277) and Fallout 4 (set in 2287)) is that they "feel" like the bombs fell too recently. Fallout 3 is supposed to be 200 years since the bombs dropped, but it feels like 20 years since people are still mostly living in dilapidated pre war buildings and surviving by scavenging stuff from before the war. Like they are still in the immediate aftermath of a nuclear exchange, when logically they should have already moved on and be building a new civilisation. Which was a cool thing about the NCR, how it represented how humanity had moved on from the apocalypse and still managed to build a stable society (albeit one that still had its fair share of problems). One thing that confused me about the first few episodes was how this world felt a little more post apocalyptic than the world of New Vegas. But it makes sense, because in this world the bombs really did drop about 20 years ago, so the progress humanity made in the 200 years since the Great War has just been wiped out. New Vegas did imply that the NCR was already reaching its apex as a civilisation and some sort of collapse was in its future, but I don't think anyone expected it to be so sudden.
5:00 "Are there Monsters?".....WELLLLLLLLL it DEPENDS on your definition 😅Are we talking Physically or Psychologically? It should be noted that we are only really going to see what is in three or four vaults in this season. In the Game or the Fallout world in general there are HUNDREDS of vaults scattered all over America. Each weirder then the next.

Yeah, Low intelligence build. I guess the option to not make yourself look like you did it didn’t pop up.
Right! Like set yourself up right Maximus, this was the kid who bullied you 😭

Also, the first part of the end credits always sheds light on a things that happened or things to come, plus it's always to a bop

Well getting nuked certainly helped that process along.
