I know I would not have been prepared enough if I hadn't taken your advice. Most important advice is time to prep and practice your answers. I advise against going into this without spending 2 weeks getting your situations down pat and being able to spin them to answer these questions. I interviewed Thursday and received an offer Friday. My answer is : My biggest weakness is procrasination. I remember 6 months ago when I decided to apply for amazon SD roles and I decided to focus on data structurre and algorithms . At the beginning , I wasn’t able to have commitment on what I was doing. So I focused on the commitment , discipline and consitency and in my opinion , I see that when I applied those concepts and avoided to be a procrastinator . I managed to grasp the knowledge and to be on the amazon on-site interview . Note : I didn’t use STAR method here . Is it ok ? How do you see my answer ?

(it's a technical associate role) Please tell me is the following example good for the weakness or I should change it? If it's good do I need to correct some parts of it? Before entering to the professional industry, I had to luxury to make most of the decisions in a project or other group assignments as most of the time I used to lead my team. After I took my first step to my professional career initially, I found it hard to leave the decision-making part of the task to my supervisor. I love to communicate with my colleague and supervisor but I in past have found difficultly to have my work judged by someone who has not seen my efforts. However, I quickly realized that it was not a criticism of my work but rather it is a review to give me a constructive feedback to improve my work to make me better. After finally learning this it has help me improve a lot as all of the progress I have made is because of my team leader reviewing my work and giving me constructive feedback
If my understanding is correct, your weakness is insubordination? A bit dangerous, especially for entry level roles. I am not saying this is a bad example, but questioning its meaning. Then, when talking weaknesses, the idea is to focus on your learnings - those are quite brief in your example. Last but not least, you should link your example to one of the 14 principles - this way it will be easier to evaluate it. And I have not seen quantifiable information here, maybe give a bit more detail as to team size, what types of projects you’ve worked on etc

I would highly recommend using you own :) The examples in the video (directness, sales exp or public speaking) are only for brainstorming purposes.
