Because I'm getting this question again and again, especially on my Instagram... Would I buy a Benelli or a Jawa?
My Answer: Jawa ANYDAY!!
I personally like Jawa as a package. It offers much better technology at this price range: Fuel Injection, Slipper Clutch and much more to deliver better performance. It's a modern-retro.
I don't mean to say that it's better than Benelli or RE or something, but it does have better technology, and it's a good package for 'me' as a solo rider.
But then again, you may be riding with a pillion, and pillion comfort is a big thing for you, where Jawa may disappoint. Both bikes are great for their price tag, so don't get influenced by someone like me. Take our points as points of reference, but do your own research and then buy the product.

An honest review from a hard to find honest biker like you. Hats off.
I am aged 51. I had a jawa at home when I was young. Later I learnt driving through an Yezdi which was a modified version of Jawa. Later on used to enjoy old RE.,. Which was stupendous. So for those who used old JAWA/ YEZDI/RE they never would like to touch the new versions of the same names. Then Benelli is good for them. My feeling.
What I liked about your review was that even though you own jawa you kept your review very very objective, an honest impression and not like other reviewers who were trying to prove why jawa or RE is better than Benelli. I believe every bike has a DNA and it appeals to certain type of riders, you kept your review sans that point to superimpose jawa over Benelli and that is what I liked. Great content.

One main thing is service centres across... Royal Enfield has changed the riding genetics of Indians, replacement of bullet not possible... your review is honest and decent....

I'm getting it too bro. It gives a screeching sound. And it's just not going away.
My dealership has suggested me to wait and said it will go away on its own. Let's wait for a couple of weeks more.

Not sure about Seelin. But Ayami is proving useful for me. Don't invest 10k in ceramic, not with it.

After being a jawa 42 owner for months now, do you feel benelli imperiale is short of power or lacks on the on road performance?
Not really bro.
Jawa's lower end is certainly powerful, but in higher end, I felt more power in benelli. Need another proper long ride to better claim it though.
Jawa - Long waiting period and still not sorted out the delivery schedules and those who booked in Nov 18 still is waiting..
Benelli - Replica of Classic 350 without vibration and very less service stations still with a BS 4 engine which can stop by April 2020 unless BS 6 version not launched
Classic 350 - BS 4 models with cosmetic changes for clear the stock and shortly BS 6 engine will be launch of which no specs are out for certain yet.
So the biggest bet now is to wait till April 2020 if planning to get the best !!!!!
Bs4 motorcycles will be faster than bs6
RE continental GT 650 they say no major changes in BS6 and price increase
So just booked BS4
Boss it's Italian engine, refinement better than RE anytime
From Feb'2020 we get BS6 version from Benelli

Bennelli is an atypical British by all of vices!!! It's heavier, costlier, slower and thirstier as compared to nimble footed, lightweight, fuel-efficient and cost effective Jawa. Bennelli only scores high on hypocracy and haughtiness 😜😂😂

As a 6 feet guy i liked everything about imperiale, and i am waiting for my jawa to be delivered in 4 months. But only sad news is that benelli’s service/ maintenance cost is little costly, so for long run its not affordable. Else i would have opted for benelli.

Honest review. Every bike has its own identity, you can feel that this is your bike when you ride it. I rode all three bikes, i felt comfortable in jawa. Some might feel it while riding re or Benelli.
Good one dev..DOHC and sohc also matters...where in jawa has Dohc plus liquid cooled..where in there are 2 dedicated camshaft to control combustion..which makes in high Rev..

Riding comfort for a 5-9 guy like me, I would say Imperiale 400 disappoints. The foot pegs are set high and a bit backwards in a racing manner. Riding comfort considering leg angle goes to RE350. Else Imperiale is much much better than Jawa. I own a TB350 and it's riding posture comfort and leg angle is not comparable to any of the retro classics launched recently.
Both Benelli & Jawa got classic vintage look but could not offer the feel because of the exhaust note. That’s where RE excels.
Feel and looks is a different thing and technology is the other. Jawa's technology is next level bro. Ride it to believe it. Haan comfort ke mamle me because it's lightweight and RE is one heavy bike so vo difference rahega. But you cannot say Ambassador is better than Volkswagen Polo in 2019. Can you?

For touring purpose which bike should i go for?
Can't say bro. To comment on how good benelli is for touring, I need to test it for longer. Jawa, however, is good for touring, except for its seat. As a solo rider, I find its ground clearance okay (I often do saddling while offroading, or put my weight into my thighs).
Don't go for jawa..

Fuel gauge
Also jawa engine has low cubic compression compared to Benelli as price of both bikes are some what is similar
Bemelli is a tall bike compared to jawa with no thump

Nice of you for d review. But I want to share something. For a person who is even 5'5" like me Benelli is excellent. I took test ride in Vijayawada its quite comfortable when compared to Royal Enfield. I can't say why but handling it is so easy though its 25kgs heavier than RE., . Hope the weight is equally distributed so we don't feel the weight.
But the gear shift is my main concern. Its very very hard I felt when I changed the gears n gearshifting sound is a bit ugly which is really irritating. The showroom people said after service it will be OK. Because of spokes wheels its not coming with tubeless tyres. Though many a doesn't care for but the pricing is on the higher side when we bring comparison. Some hidden charges are there which can be bargained as they can't demand for such because its against government rules n regulations (Laws in favour of consumer). Vehicle is awesome no vibration at all even at 100 kmph and engine sound is perfect. I liked it.

Again honest review janab, I think Jawa is better because more power/bhp less weight,6 gears,liquid cooling,better tank range. Benelli after sales service network is always a issue but jawa has also some negative points like rusting too soon which is very serious to me. Rest is fine with Jawa.well for me it has to be-
