For anyone who wasn't aware, the Mosin Nagant rifle is still being used in the Ukraine war to this day. Soldiers who get one now are a lot less happy about it then they used to be, but the 7.62x54r round is still an effective and deadly round available in large numbers for cheap. I myself love my old ww2 Mosin. It's cheap, reliable, and only occasionally catches on fire.

@al.bay24 That was probably my fault. I didn't make sure to bake off the cosmoline. So the first time I fired it rapidly, the oil heated up and burned off of the wood. Everything turned out fine.
