I can't be the only one that believes the fighting sucks on GTA V, no combos, no different styles like GTA San Andreas, just the same 2 punches & a leg kick..smh

I agree I wish they had more, I'm not a fan of that leg kick that's for sure. I try to make sure my guy throws only punches, that leg kick is weak shit, but it's useful when you need to get somebody off you quick

Fighting is way too easy in this game, in GTA 4 it was a lot harder, until you get the hang of it, but GTA 5 fights are way too easy to win

Red dead 2 fighting is the best one
That dodge and then two punches is my favorite move, but it still doesn't compare at all to Niko's insane moves in GTA IV. He can disarm people, he does kickboxing and muay Thai moves, awesome dodges, etc.

This game still has new attacks. If you want to do new attacks in this, do not aim on your enemies by pressing LT or R2 or whatever it is, instead just aim once, and use B or Circle to attack, your character will perform different attacks like a quick fist or a strong or my favourite kidney attack which kills the enemy in a single hit.
Yes, they happen rarely tho, but when it happens it's so cool

I wished the fighting would be more advanced like sleeping dogs. Only that you have to master different styles in a gym and can switch them.

I've always wondered what caused the left hand punch mechanic in GTA 5, as what I've noticed is that it appears to be rare and only occurs during a specific mechanic when aligned perfectly. Does anyone know how to activate it? It's the mechanic used at 0:17 in the video.
Sometimes I be using the invincibility and melee attack cheats and it's funny when while they're swinging, I just check my phone then swing a punch😂

An opponent with a knife hits quickly and falls just as quickly.
You need to hit him, and not try to dodge.

How do you duck?
I think every character should have a different fighting style, instead of the same.
For example, i would give Michael Judo and Karate.
For Franklin, it should be Boxing or Muay Thai.
And Trevor, of course, the original Street sloppy style.
But I remember playing Gta 5 online and my character hit 3 combos on this pedestrian and then I slapped the pedestrian

I used to climb up the ladder on the side of the hospital after I bumped into a guy, I will bump in the few guys and get them wanting to fight me and then climb up the ladder and watch them bump into each other and fight
