- I was inspired by the beautiful and complex story of Lexa and Clarke to create this song. It's meant to be from Lexa's point of view, and is about the harsh reality of priorities. Lexa wishes she could put her feelings for Clarke first, but that's just not the way it is. She's too covered in warpaint.

This was AMAZING. You know that if Lexa could have said something, anything to Clark about her feelings without appearing weak...it would have been those words. You see it in her eyes when she looks at Clark, and those words vocalize Lexa's pain, and love for Clark. Outstanding. Thank you.
