The opening statement was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
RIP PHIFE.
Kool Moe Dee was always extra smart, a very intelligent talent, and really a pioneer way ahead of his time and wise beyond his years, amazing rapper.
An intelligent and knowledgable black man - something the major labels sadly don´t want to see or support I guess..
i remember going to the video store and renting this video for $2.99 and had it for the weekend , i watched around 10 times and thought how amazing it was ...never thought it would be on something called youtube lol years later
This is Pure Gold!!!
KRS One, D-Nice, & A Tribe Called Quest were and still are the truth. 👍🏿👌🏿😎🌴🌙 I miss the 90s. This Gen Z need to be educated.

crazy that Tribe came straight from the Bonita Applebum video shoot! they're literally wearing the same clothes!!!
so dope!
To Kool Moe…What a well spoken individual.
KOOL MOE DEE CRAZY INTELLIGENCE
I'm amazed at how articulate Kool Moe Dee is. Seems like we don't hear that as often anymore.
Lynette C. We in the era where it's cool to sound illiterate.
@@ricocrockett370 ..it is ne'er cool to sound illiterate..this is an era where the illiterate are just too damn lazy to educate themselves..get it not confused, e'er..
why are you amazed? lol
Had the chance to meet him when I was working with Easy AD of the Cold Crush Brothers. He was super cool!!!
@@ricocrockett370💯degener. everywhere now
You could tell just by look at ATCQ they would be something special
Classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Goood ole days. So much diversity and unity. Rip Phife
Thanks 4 uploading this Treasure ❤
Kool Moe Dee was asking all the members of Tribe questions that only Q-Tip knows the answers to. He made the beats, wrote the songs, came up with the concepts the Tribe logo etc. 😂
Damn this brings me back to my high school days
Old school rap is the best 👌🏽
That’s gold. Thank you for uploading it
Glad you enjoyed it
My appreciation to Kool Moe Dee and his example of being so well spoken.
I got wild love for LL, but behind closed doors, or even in public, I couldn't front on MOE DEE either. Not only does he has grid iron bars, but projects a lot of intelligence, too!! Listen to how articulate he is......MAN!!
And WELL'WELL again I'm just saying thank you so much for this evening powerful "CLASSIC DOCUMENTARY" I'm just saying "REAL TALK/TRUTH BE TOLD" and "FOOD FOR THOUGHT". "BLACK FIRST"
Here’s the A Tribe called quest interview if your looking for it -17:09-27:22-these guys look hella annoyed while getting interviewed 😂😂They knew their second album would rock the world by the why they talk about it . Legendary
Also starts again at 32:50
Moe Dee and them are just fucking with each other, I don’t think anyone was actually annoyed. A little stoned maybe though 🤷🏽♂️
They were probably high as kites
Wow this is amazing
Wow, I never knew this existed! Thank you for uploading. Classic interviews
Classic🔥
Pure Gold for my nights I got sleep
Word man wooord
KMD is so intelligent & Nice on the M I C

so much of what he's saying is still true.
I love your channel!!!

Teddy Riley REALLY wanted to push this beat. How many songs is this used in???
Q-Tip high af.
true and it also looked like Jacobi was smoking something by the way it was edited out when he was about to light his blunt!
Wow is all I can say 👏🏽👏🏽
D-Nice 🙌🏼🙌🏼
We better appreciate our hip hop legends while we still have them we just lost trugoy the dove.
that KRS video wow
Old school, wow
COOL STUFF

Look at our brothers from back then stylishly mixing up african fashion. Today a lot of american distance themselves from their roots. We need to wake up be proud of who we are
Now they pop perc 30s and kill one another.. puh
💜🙏🏾🤩
RIP THE FIVE FOOT ASSASIN

they did not edit it Moe Dee lol
one eye on your T-shirt
Actually 2 eyes
Hip Hop was pure trash in the early 90s. It changed in 93-94. Thank God!!!
Moe dee the lyrical lord but his beats was always booty. If he had doper beats, he would’ve beat cool j. Too bad, so sad. He can’t be denied when it comes to his lyrical abilities though.
Slim is chillin no diss, but you must overstand. Moe was old school and it was great for the time. L.L. was more sampled. Moe had more real instruments. Yes, u hear samples on Moe Dees songs, but not much.
Slim is chillin And also Moe wanted more people to hear his lyrics. Not so much the music.
Believe me, I already know. Kool moe dee on my mt Rushmore
Are you low key dissing Teddy Riley who produced most of his albums?
darrell glover if the shoe fits. You know the majority of moe dee’s studio records had wack beats. My favorite stuff from him is from his t3 days
You must learn
Nineteen-ninety does not feel like 30 plus years ago!
😂 You Ain't BSN

I was waiting for the "Self Destruction" video to come on at the end 😕..!!??
That was a great video. I dont have the VHS in my collection, but the making of is on UA-cam
reelblack do u have any informative videos on Long Island, NY rappers like P.E or Rakim even EPMD??!! WE need the real to help these young folks, LOL. THANX IN ADVANCE. PEACE N BLESSINGS.
They seem to be a little disrespectful to Moe D. He’s a pioneer and they seemed annoyed by him.
The track at 32 minutes IS HOUSE MUSIC. (Reminds me of Todd Terry age)
that was the worst hair cut in hip hop history i don't care if i was him i'd of had a hat on i mean good lard i had a step in my high top once but mine looked like 2pac's in juice you know a good hair style maybe his barber fucked up and he tried to make it work or something
Jealousy is an evil thing go get some help.
@@meonly6471 was that you in this video back in the days i was talking about here because if it was your funny and got bars for days 💁♂look at it

DJ slice 😂😂 wish it was and Doctor Ice was one of my favourite rappers he was lyrical and funny 🤣😂
There's no better Rapper than Moe Dee others may be popular but that doesn't compare to talent only Krs1 is similar to him.
