There's an N/R war rock star warrior deck which has surprisingly good synergy. The war rocks are all earth warriors , who boost their attack, and are mostly level 5 or higher making them great for fusion material or for reviving Kaiki

fun fact! this deck, affectionaly named "Chad Turbo" is currently tier 2 in N/R format since all of their cards are low rarity and they can otk pretty reliably!
this archtype are for fun plays in those modes, there are no R/N, also powerfull cards in that format (because you dont have hand traps, and the few are weak "fobidden" spells)
One thing you didn't mention: Idaten can be summoned with Face Card Fusion, using the Jack Knight you get from getting your suits on the field and sending Kaiki directly from Deck. It was fun times in the Fusion Festival.
Someone else mentioned it, but this deck also really works well with Dual avatar since their both light types and have useful fusions too. Combing both in one deck might actually be pretty good.

I play Kakik the Unity Star in my Dual Avatar deck. They are level 5 to 8 warrior fusion monsters easy to summon and very attack heavy. Along with some disruption during the opponent's turn.The discard cost for Dual Avatar Invitation can be positive if you have Kaiki in your hand.

I’m shocked you didn’t mention the Arcana card knights. There EARTH Warriors that can help build a field and there fusion spell lets you make any of your LIGHT Warrior fusions using a material from DECK 🌟♦️♠️♣️♥️⚔️

If you need more copies of IF, Ready Fusion works especially well with them since, 1. It's not limited 2. It gets you easy access to any level 6 or lower vanilla fusion and 3. It puts easy mats on field for Isolde or for the Giltia fusion retrain.
I used them in a fun N/R format tournament in Master Duel. I combined them with the Warrior-type Pendulum Spirit monsters since they were also Level 5. I used Overlay Booster, Feast of the Wild, and Pendulum Fusion for the deck. When the new cards come out, they may be good in a limited format or to some degree in ranked. It was fun to use.
It’s funny that I just watched Iggy/Isao’s episode for the first time the day before this episode came out. I’ve seen Idaten around when deck building in Duel Links, but I had no idea it was a full-on series from the anime. Thank you for the video.

I mix that deck with megalith in my local when i started play and they all see the potencial of the stars and complain to get hit by my idaten with 10k atk, this deck have a Special place in my heart s2

war rocks are full of earth warriors that adjust their atk scores, so you can splash in some kaiki, kaiza, and todoroki for easy access. it's a real shame that orpis only sends earth warriors, while it's the light star warrios that have grave effects...
lets see how this goes. I wonder if you miss the easist level 5 that can work with them. Hayate and Tenma is so bad. kaiki is really good. only need 1 Kaiza is barely ok but he not that good. he is not that good. Todroki is good as you can use stuff in your hand to fusion with. only need 1 gilti-gearfried is ok. not great but ok. there are better cards. Senko is good just because of his free special summon. anything else. no Todroki and Senko can be good together but they are very much brinks higher than 1. Raijin is good but he is really great with the level 12 fusion. Idaten is the must go to card in this setup but he is even better with the level 12 fusion. also that card you are going to add from him will most likely be Joker's knight or Kaiki or booster and now we are on Shura the combat star. the card that can literally make both fusion even stronger. there attacks will go up to 5000. think about it. Raijin attacking someone in defense. 5000, double damage, and Piercing. Idaten can get him to 5000, then lower their attack back down to 0 Utopia double got nothing on him. yes. Feast of the wild lv5 no. don't use XYZ with them. yes BattlGuard Cadet Overlay booster can be used. what. no don't use Junker forward. you have better cards that are actually level 5 super Quantum red layer? come on. there is a better card. yes U A can work. don't use fusion Reinforcement. you have to summon him as a fusion summon to get his effect. Amazoness War Chief. where is Amazoness War Chief. how did you miss Amazoness War Chief. how did you miss Jack's Knights and Joker's Knight.
It’s almost a crime that he didn’t mention Gilti-gearfried the magical steel knight. It’s a card that gains an effect when using materials on field, requires two different attribute warrior types, and can attack twice and gain half of its defense as attack to punch even harder, it’s perfect for this deck!
funny fact about all these cards in master duel well the ones in master duel... they are all in the legacy pack AND all are of R rarity or lower

Not bad to use as a small engine in duel links either, they supplement many warrior decks well enough

They really need to bring n/r back, there's a reason even though it's one of the first events released over a year ago it's being talked about

I did not know Idaten was part of an archetype. I always assumed it was a generic OTK tool for warrior turbo
Sadly, most people do that. They'll never know a card is part of it's own theme because it's overshadowed by splashing it in other decks.
